Announced back in May, today sees the launch of the super sexy Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector's Set in North America, leaving the rest of the world looking on greener than Blanka with pure envy. The multiple disc set bundles almost all of the Street Fighter loveliness you could ever ask for, with the notable absence of Street Fighter 1, where it all started 25 years ago. Oops.

Still, how can you complain when you get all of this stuff in one big old box. It's got a light-up Ryu statue! Shoryuken! Here's the contents in full:

  • Past and Present Street Fighter Games – Playable on current gen PS3 and Xbox 360 console systems, the four critically-acclaimed titles selected from the star-studded catalog are: Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, Street Fighter III 3rd Strike Online Edition, Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition with all costume DLC, and Street Fighter X Tekken including all character and Swap Costume DLC.
  • Exclusive Video – The two-disc Blu-Ray set includes a documentary that highlights the profound influence the franchise has had on fans - and vice versa - throughout the years. The collection of videos also includes Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV Anime movies as well as all episodes of the Street Fighter animated series and Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie.
  • Light-up Ryu Statue – A specially commissioned and highly-detailed collectable Ryu statue stands prominently at 8” tall and features the iconic character in mid-Shoryuken, with flames lit from below.
  • 11-Disc Soundtrack – Street Fighter game music spanning the past 25 years, in addition to remixes and fan-created music inspired by past Street Fighter games.
  • 64-page Hardcover Art Book – A tribute to Street Fighter game fans from all over the world, the art book includes fan pieces submitted by professional and aspiring artists alike.
  • Ryu’s Belt – Created to regulation specs, the full-size martial arts black belt is a replica of the one Ryu wears and even includes his classic "Fürinkazan" in kanji!
  • Certificate of Authenticity – Each Collector’s Set comes individually numbered complete with a certificate of authenticity.

Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector's Set is available in North America now for the not entirely unaffordable price tag of $149.99.

I agree with comment #2. In six month they will release ULTIMATE anniversary seth. Just like they did 6 months after Marvel vs Capcom 3. We got ULTIMATE marvel vs Capcom 3.
and probably the new version of the collector edition will include the missing street fighter 1.

It is a pretty good deal if you don't have any of the games, but what Street Fighter fan doesn't have em already?

Im new to street fighter and i bought this at midnight. I think it is great for someone who is just getting into the series. I mean come on it comes with 8 games and 11 discs of soundtrack! I listened to some of it on my way to school today and the music is great. And the box that it comes in is made well and the Ryu statue is badass.

I wish this had the Alpha series, then it would be a true hallmark of what Street Fighter is and has become.

@11 Street fighter 2 is what created the fighting game genre and street fighter 4 brought people back to the community after third strike was bleeding people for years. I think this collection really shows how street fighter has grown as a series and to see the most important fighting game series of all time

Did they by any chance add trophies to SF2 for this bundle, got it free from plus a bit back and was surprised to find it was without trophies

Nice box for SF fans / collectors, and see, they even put all extras for SFxT in there, now why couldn't they just do that with the stand-alone game as well & I'd be running out the the closest retailer.

@12

I know Street Fighter pretty much started the FGC. I've been playing it for well over 20 years now. My point was that the Alpha series shouldn't be excluded out of the "25th Anniversary of Street Fighter" when the Alpha series helped push the popularity of it. Don't know what you meant by that 3rd Strike comment.

@13 Thanks a lot man. I didn't know they were releasing that.
