So this was the collaboration between Overkill and Valve.

A trailer has emerged overnight for some new Payday: The Heist DLC set in the Mercy Hospital from the original Left 4 Dead.

Valve’s Chet Faliszek revealed that a L4D character will appear in the add-on as well as a “fun little easter egg with a payoff later in Left 4 Dead.”

“This is a 100% Overkill made mission for Payday: Heist simply set in no mercy hospital from the Left 4 Dead series,” he said. “It is not telling the origins of the Infection and is not canon.

A few weeks ago, Overkill announced that they were working on something with Valve to mesh the two worlds of Payday: The Heist and Left 4 Dead. We got rather excited.

Then, it was rumoured that the collaboration was going to be a Left 4 Dead prequel by Overkill, detailing how the zombie outbreak came about. But then those rumours were quickly shot down. Boo.

The rumours weren’t too far off though, by the looks of it. Platforms, prices or dates have not yet been revealed. It’s possible that the DLC may be PC only. We’ll keep you posted.

Should be good fun, have this on Steam. Big L4D fan so it'll be great to see Mercy again.

Seeing as how Sony is the publisher, I doubt it would be PC only.

Not bad. To use the No mercy map for this looks interesting. Let's see how it turns out. I bet 10 bucks every L4D player will be checking if they can use the same glitches to win the match.

Since Sony is the Publisher.... and in this article it says "fun little easter egg with a payoff later in Left 4 Dead”.... Does this mean that we'll be seeing Left 4 Dead on pS3 soon? =O

I don't know why Valve made it so those 2 games (L4D1&2)are exclusive to the 360. Valve works with Sony as well (Portal series, etc). L4D series should have never been left out of that.

I doubt this or L4D is coming to the PS3. Sorry but I don't want to put my hopes up for nothing.
