Warner Bros. Interactive has today revealed the first official trailer for LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7, which sees the titular wizard's latter terms at Hogwarts translated into plastic bricks, with the classic tongue-in-cheek LEGO humour, as things get darker in the story.

You'll get to see a pubescent Harry, Ron, Hermione and co., as they confront old what's-his-face, Lord Voldemort. Expect magic, action and hours of collecting little LEGO studs. Check out the video for a proper look at LEGO Harry and his magical posse in action.

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 is out in November 2011.

I'm currently playing through Years 1-4 and doing so has rekindled my love of the LEGO games. I have no doubt that this game will be incredible (and hold many fan-friendly surprises, as the LEGO games are stellar at doing), but I'll probably wait until summer to pick it up since the LEGO games tend to drop in price fairly quickly. Plus, it might have bugs and glitches at launch like Years 1-4 did.

I agree! I just hope this isn't like the crash prone bugfest that is Lego POTC :(.

TT and Lego should start using good source material for their games again. The Clone Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Harry Potter aren`t exactly the best the world of media has to offer. In fact, I`d wager it`s some of the worst.

But considering Lego`s alliance with Disney, expect the next games to focus on their IP`s. A Lego Pixar collection, perhaps? One can only hope.

Agreed! The Lego games have all been decent enough but only the Star Wars ones have been truly great.

I will definitely be buying this. But I have to agree with #1 about waiting til the price drops some - there's just too many upcoming games that warrant my full attention. Besides, if it's anything like Years 1-4, let them get the bugs out first. I'm just wondering at this point what the next TT game will be?

All TT'S Lego games are fun! I played all of them before and Im 18 years old for god sake=) also, would'nt it be better if TT make a LEGO game not based on movie? I'll love to see them making LEGO Mr Bean from the animated Mr Bean insetad of the movie! Lego Mr Bean imho, will be awesome and hilarious! mr bean did'nt talk, he only grunts alot and that really suits for a LEgo game=D

@6 your either stupid or ignorant. Harry potter is one of the most successful film franchises ever. As is pirates of the caribean. Clone wars is shit but hey they already done star wars so what u gunner do

Aren`t stupid and ignorant the same thing, #14? Either way, I`m allowed to have my own opinion, so what u gunner do about it?

Also, succesful =/= good. Twilight is a blockbuster franchise, but is it good? Nope. Also, the majority of people are quite often stupid. How else did certain governments rise to power? I`d like to single out the German leaders of the `30`s of last century.

I am also working on LEGO Harry Potter 1-4 and its an amazing game. I remember playing Lego Indiana Jones and Batman a couple years back. LEGO had awesome games but LEGO STar Wars the Clone Wars is a disgrace to LEGO games. Add me on PSN BGarden7.

Don't see the point in buying this game or the previous one, if a complete saga will be released in a year (which was the case for star wars).

i wish i could say that I would go out and buy this the day it comes out, but thats waht I did with years 1-4 and those bugs were ridiculous especially the dreaded "boy glitch" that I was a victim of. Lego POTC was a freeze fest and glitchy as well, so im hesitant as to whether I'll pick up years 5-7 at all....

Can't wait to get this game, I'll probably get it close to launch date, even if there's some bugs and I have to start the game over again, it's fun for my kids and myself.

So what if it does? There are people out there myself included that happen to like them while they last.

Why do you have complain everytime a new Lego game comes out? If you don't like them then don't post and let us Lego lovers play them in peace! You're constant griping on this issue is really getting old.

Like COD, the formula for the Lego games hardly changes from one game to the next but it hasn't stopped both franchises from racking up the sales. Whilst these games keep on selling, they'll keep making them, end of story!

@23: The funniest part is that "EXACTLY" right there. Each game has had something new/changed. The basic gameplay of course is the same though.

I just love the lego games and will be getting it day one already paid in full at gamestop. As far as the bugs go I don't care I restart and get my moneys worth. I just wish they would add trophies to Lego Batman or Lego Star Wars or release them in a collectors pack with trophies. Better yet start a poll on the next lego game. Bring on the bricks

@4 Agreed. Originally I picked up the first two on PS2 but it was later re-released on the wii as the complete saga. Nothing can compare to the likes of greats such as Lego star wars, while other lego games are fun they just don't have that funny novelty quality or same experience I felt with the first two games.

I will be picking this up, just hope that the level creator allows you to share levels online this time.

I think the Lego games are genius and they do a great job with tweaks on each new release. The last Star Wars entry, while I really don't like the Clones series, was freaking epic. These are really the only games my whole family can into together. Lego games transcend the boundaries of genre disagreement inthis hous :)
