Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning (PS4)
Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning Gets Release Date & Future Expansion Confirmed - Trailer
Written Tuesday, July 07, 2020 By Matt Lorrigan

THQ Nordic has confirmed that Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning will release for PS4 on 8th September 2020, and will be getting a brand new expansion in 2021.

The cult classic remake was officially confirmed by the publisher last month after the game accidentally leaked ahead of announcement, but now we've got a release date, as well as our first trailer which reveals that fans will get to continue their adventure in Amalur with the brand new Fatesworn expansion. This expansion is due to release in 2021.

THQ Nordic has also confirmed that there will be three versions of the game to purchase on release. The Standard Edition will retail for £34.99 / $39.99 / €39.99, while the Fate Edition will give players access to the Fatesworn expansion and will set you back £47.99 / $54.99 / €54.99. If you really want to go all out though, the Collector's Edition bundles in an eight-inch figurine, keychain, collector's box, artwork and the Grant Kirkhope soundtrack for £99.99 / $109.99 / €109.99. You can check it out in detail in the bottom trailer down below.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning introduces increased graphical fidelity and refinded gameplay, and bundles in all of the original game's DLC when it releases on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 8th September 2020.

I can't wait to play this one again to death! Loved it on the PS3, surely gonna go bonkers with it on PS4... and most likely PS5 if ever they re-release it there again.

That's pretty cool that they're adding new content to the remaster.

@3 Shame on you! How dare you not read until the end! Haha. I'm pretty psyched for this game. I actually played it on the 360.

This game got good reviews and I know that people enjoyed it, but the sales weren't great. I hope that the remaster does better.

Originally they were planning an MMO component as a follow-up that got cancelled due to the poor sales.

Preordered today. Kind of wish I'd have paid attention when the collectors edition first went live, wouldve paid the extra $50 - $60 for it if it wasn't sold out. Loved this game on PS3.

Wonder if the new expansion will add a level cap increase. The original game never got one, so you did all this content for EXP, looooooong after you had hit the level cap.

Let's just hope they fix all the bugs from the original game like on PC better behind camera and also quest bug fixes like the deer heads and the quest to kill spiders and save someone you finish and he lives but sometimes the game says you haven't and says you failed
