The Dark Pictures: Little Hope
The Dark Pictures: Little Hope Gives First Look at Gameplay in Creepy 8-Minute Trailer
Written Monday, June 29, 2020 By Matt Lorrigan

Bandai Namco has dropped eight minutes of early gameplay from Little Hope, the second game in the Dark Pictures Anthology.

Presumably taking place near the beginning of the game, we see Will Poulter's Andrew and Ellen David's Angela attempting to catch up with the rest of a group of students. We get to see all the gameplay you'd expect from a Supermassive horror game, with dialogue options and short cutscenes interspersed with short exploration sequences. It's all just a little creepy, until it suddenly gets very creepy when a very Northern ghost girl turns up.

We have to admit, the dialogue feels a little awkward, so we're hoping this is cleaned up a little before the game releases later this year. We didn't have a very good time with Man of Medan when we reviewed it last year, so we're cautiously optimistic that Little Hope will turn out better.

The Dark Pictures: Little Hope releases on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in Autumn 2020. You can check out the gameplay trailer down below.
