Doctor Who: The Edge of Time (EU)
Doctor Who: The Edge of Time VR Dated for November
Written Tuesday, October 22, 2019 By Matt Lorrigan

Upcoming PSVR game Doctor Who: The Edge of Time will release on 12th November 2019, publisher PlayStack has announced. The game had previously been announced to be arriving in October 2019.

Developed by Maze Theory, the feature-length VR game sees you take on the role of a companion of The Doctor, attempting to save time and space from a virus that threatens reality itself. The Edge of Time will see you take on iconic Doctor Who monsters, pulling references from all 55 years of the classic TV show’s history and equipping players with the get-out-of-jail-free card that is the Sonic screwdriver (unless the door/computer is deadlocked or made of wood, obviously).

Video games using the Doctor Who license have not had a great track record in the past, with some awful releases on the Nintendo Wii, and Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock arriving on PS3 in 2012 to almost universally negative reviews. The Edge of Time looks very promising though, and VR could turn out to be the best way of throwing players into the world of Doctor Who and the TARDIS.

Doctor Who: The Edge of Time launches on PlayStation VR, Vive, Oculus and SteamVR on 12th November 2019.

I don't see this as a physical retail game yet so I'll wait till it is or wait till it's $5CAD.
