Bandai Namco has confirmed that the latest One Piece anime narrative arc will feature in One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, with an original retelling of the ongoing Wano Country storyline that won't spoil the anime version. As such, the game's take on the Wano Country story will feature familiar environments and the Straw Hat Crew facing a deadly threat.

Indomitable swordsman and master of the Santoryu, Zoro will also feature as a playable charcater, packing the three swords he created himself, as always. You can expect Zoro to do his part in the Wano Country battles, alongside natural born fighter, Carrot. A member of the mink tribe, Carrot is a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield, able to beckon the mysterious power of the primal Sulong form by looking a the moon.

Charting Luffy and the Straw Hat Crew's journey from the very beginning right up to the Wano Country story, the upcoming sequel promises a "more explosive story", more environments, and "crazier attacks". One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is due to launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC sometime in 2020. Check out the new Wano Country TGS trailer below.

Pirate Warriors 3 was great, but I'm kinda left wondering how they're gonna go about this one. Is it going to be another retelling of the entire series? 1 and 3 did that already, and there's only been 2 sagas since Pirate Warriors 3 came out. So I have to see what they're actually changing in the gameplay before I go and buy this. Making Carrot playable is a start, I really hope they give me something to make me wanna go and buy this right away.
