Apex Legends to Get Boxed Retail Release Next Month
Written Wednesday, September 11, 2019 By Ben Borthwick

EA has announced that it will be selling two brand new boxed retail versions of Respawn's popular battle royale shooter Apex Legends next month in the form of Bloodhound and Lifeline Editions.

Both new editions will contain the game, of course, 1000 Apex Coins and a different set of cosmetic bonus items depending on your version for their respective heroes. Bloodhound's pack contains a Legendary The Intimidator character skin and Wrath Bringer Prowler skin, an exclusive Feeling Impish Banner and Tormentor Badge.

The Lifeline pack will contain a Legendary Guardian Angel character skin and Chooser of the Slain Flatline skin, an exclusive Winged Guardian Banner and Angel Struck Badge. Both editions are expected to cost around $19.99 MSRP and will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC from the 18th October.

They are only doing this, because the playerbase has collapsed and no-one is buying the massively over-priced and extremely scummy micro transactions - especially after the stunt EA pulled a few weeks back by pay walling a sought after item behind nearly $200 worth of micro transactions.
