Ubisoft has announced that Assassin's Creed Odyssey 'The Fate of Atlantis' will be surfacing next week, delivering the second post-launch story arc for the game, with episode one, Fields of Elysium. A further two episodes are scheduled to release later this year.

As the chapter name suggests, Fields of Elysium will take you to the beautiful afterlife paradise of Elysium, where you'll uncover a series of sinister secrets while facing the might of the Isu. Battling new factions and rubbing shoulders with familiar faces, this first episode in The Fate of Atlantis saga will also include new legendary weapons and gear.

New abilities that modify existing skills, including the Ares Bull Charge, Might of Artemis, Kronos Time Warp, and Ares Madness, will feature in The Fate of Atlantis - Fields of Elysium, while the second and third episodes - 'Torment of Hades' and 'Judgment of Atlantis' will add even more new skills, weapons and gear in mid-2019.

To access The Fate of Atlantis, you'll need to finish the 'Between Two Worlds' questline in the main game, as well as the 'Heir of Memories' and 'Lost Tales of Greece' questlines available after completing 'Between Two Worlds'. A character of level 28 or above is also required. Alternatively, you'll be able to use a shortcut to reach level 52 and gain preset abilities, but you won't be able to obtain achievements using this option.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey: The Fate of Atlantis 'Fields of Elysium' episode will be available on 23rd April for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Ill probably play it when my fingers are worn out from mashing in MK. As far as days gone, ill give that a hard pass.

Odyssey is already out.....what does DLC have to do with full(ish) game launches?

Not really. Especially seeing if your character is high level you can polish them off in about an hour.

I'll likely not play my pre-order of Days Gone but I like to support all of the PS4 exclusives at launch especially this game because they've put so much effort into it.

They likely mean that those games will overshadow the DLC and players won't purchase it. I say it doesn't matter much because to be honest who wouldn't have purchased the season pass especially seeing that its been on sale and you also get Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered and Assassin's Creed Liberation Remastered as free bonuses?

I know Ubisoft is trying to stretch the games longevity but it would be nice if they were quicker on the dlc releases.
