Shadow of the Tomb Raider Concept Art Leaks, Reveals More Information About Unannounced Game

Yet another leak for in-development game The Shadow of the Tomb Raider has surfaced online, this time in the form of concept art for the title, as reported by Kotaku.

The leak reportedly comes from L.A-based creative agency TakeOff - an institution that produces trailers, press kits, animations and such for various developers and publishers

According to Kotaku, a description from a cached version of the page reads, “Through sketches and renders, we explored varying concepts for the Shadow of the Tomb Raider logo and key art.

It follows up with: “This process consisted of using the different pillars of the game as inspiration to accurately portray the brand.”
The artwork - hosted at the head of this post - shows off Lara traversing perilous terrain, using a rope, a bow and arrow and a machete and exploring a dark cave. All of which is very much in-line with what you might expect from a Tomb Raider title.
This is the second significant leak for the game - the first involved a reported Square Enix employee visibly working on files relating to the game in public.

Bring it on... now I'm caught in between getting the game first or let MS gamble again on timed exclusive and we (PS4ers) get the game PLUS ALL the DLCs for free in a polished bug-free game. I really enjoyed ROTTR more than I actually anticipated. I wished they'd add "timed tomb raiding" like that of timed quests in FFXV and elusive targets in Hitman - NOT "timed trials, I hate those"...

... plus the card boost/buff system should be included as well...

Sadly I am not excited for this one, I found Rise of the Tomb Raider to be extremely boring

The tomb raider reboots were what the franchise needed. I thought both were amazing games and both me and my partner are excited for more Lara

@3 I found the story really dull, the game itself felt like it was the first game re-skinned, the push for microtransactions locked off some pretty cool weapon upgrades and didn't feel like a tomb raider game at all. At least to me the entire experience was really, really dull.

Have to agree with #2 here I felt the first games story was so much better than the 2nd game I bought it on PS4 when it was released and I found myself leaving it more than I did the first game. In fact I think I stopped playing for about 3 weeks till I decided to complete the story then all the collectables. Yet in the 1st game I was hooked I literally finished it in 3 days getting all collectables etc and I enjoyed the story more and characters

Gotta say I absolutely loved the last 2 games, they were great.
Hoping they leave out Multiplayer + MicroTransactions.

@2 and @6 I'm with you about the story being poor. Rhianna Pratchett, the writer of both games, departed straight after ROTR shipped which speaks volumes.
