Double Fine has announced that 1995 point-and-click LucasArts adventure classic, Full Throttle, will be releasing for PlayStation 4, PS Vita and PC this April. Telling the story of Ben Throttle, the ass-kicking leader of the Polecats biker gang, Full Throttle is a tale of motorcycles, mayhem and murder.

And when Ben is double-crossed, his gang have been messed with and his bike has been trashed, he sets out to find the perpetrators and beat the hell out of them. Full Throttle Remastered will include all-new hand-drawn art, high-resolution 3D artwork, remastered audio and music, and more.

You'll also be able to switch between the game's classic, original look and the remastered artwork, as well as "mix-n-match" audio, graphics and UI options in whichever way you prefer. The game also includes a concept art browser and a commentary track from the original creators.

Full Throttle Remastered will be coming to PlayStation 4, PS Vita and PC on 18th April 2017.

This was my all time favorite point and click as a child alongside Space Quest's III-V. I haven't played it in about 18 years but the second the intro video played I could almost repeat the dialogue verbatim I'd played it so much. Instant pre-order for me to show support of more remasters of iconic games.

Considering how most Double Fine games eventually make it to plus, this may be worth waiting on.

Sorry, I'll pass. I'm getting real sick of the 6 million remakes coming to a console near you.

Either come out with a new Sequel to a game series you have or a totally new IP. Hey Double Fine, how about a new Brutal Legend?

Never heard of this one, but I enjoyed Grim Fandango and Day of the Tenticle so I'll get it. Someone needs to remake Discworld and Discworld 2 though.

@7, If you don't want to play or don't like it, then don't buy it. Easy as that. There are others who would to play this who never had the chance before or who want to replay it again.
