Codemasters has announced that it will be looking to the community to test its upcoming Formula One game this year, in a new post over on the Codemasters Blog.

"The development team have been hard at work on the next project for some time now, and we can’t wait to share some of the fantastic new game additions with you," the blog reads.

"Last year, we ran a very successful programme of community testing and beta tests, in which you gave us some incredible feedback that helped us shape the game. We’re very excited to announce that they were so successful that this year we’re not only widening their scope, but we’re starting the process earlier as well."

There's a new handling model coming to the game, apparently, and Codies will be asking players to test the new system for them in the beta. There will be 300 places available on the beta per platform (so 900 overall across PS4, Xbox One and PC) and the beta is expected to start alongside the new F1 season - at the end of March.

If you want to take part in this beta, head on over to Codemasters' website and punch in your details for a chance at getting in on the action.

Until the do away with the nonsense of me breaking into a turn, only to be rear ended by the AI behind me, and me getting the penalty for causing a collision, then I could care less about their F1 racing games.
