Fullbright’s Gone Home has been delayed in Europe and Australia, despite the fact the game was supposed to come out today.

“Sad announcement,” said the official Gone Home Twitter account. “Due to last-minute complications with ratings/cert, GH Console is delayed in EU/AUS regions.”

Asked when the game will actually launch in Europe and Australia, the Twitter account replied, “likely not this week; still a hurdle to two to get over. Hopefully not later than the following [week].

Gone Home tells the story of a girl who returns to her family home following a period away travelling, only to find that… well, that would be a spoiler.

The release of the North American version of the game is unaffected. It’s out later today.

Great game if a bit too short for my liking. But if the price is right, I could definitely replay it, this time showing my wife how very well made story is.

And this is why the rating system in Australia is flawed and laughable.

Well, if the trophy list on psnprofiles is anything, it'll be rather short. Though I myself am unsure if I'll try the game or not. I suppose later on down the track I could.

Why would it be delayed for Australia when you can get it on Steam for the PC

Don't think anyone will be bothered if this is held up in rating limbo forever, one of the most overrated piece of shovelware in a long, long time.
