Indie publisher Versus Evil has announced that it's bringing The Banner Saga, Kyn, Toren and Armikrog to PlayStation 4 in early 2015.

The Banner Saga is an adventure game from former BioWare devs Stoic, consisting of turn-based strategy, pretty 2D animated art and a strong focus on story, it's a bit good by all accounts.

Armikrog, meanwhile, is a distinctive stop-motion claymation point-and-click adventure from the makers of Earthworm Jim and Neverhood. It's colourful, quirky, and has plenty of oddball characters and toilet humour, so you can count us in.

Kyn is a Viking-themed tactical RPG that was made by two guys from Holland in just two years. It promises "hours upon hours of adventuring", according to Versus Evil.

And last but not least, Toren is a dark fantasy adventure from Brazilian studio Swordtales. You'll guide a lonely 'Moonchild' as they climb the eponymous tower, defeating trecherous enemies and solving some fiendish puzzles along the way.

All four sound great, and will be available to play at the PlayStation Experience in Las Vegas on December 6th and 7th. Check out an image from each title below.

Banner Saga is free already on Steam, I guess it's free on PS4 too? The Viking RPG seems really promising, I've never heard of it and I can't seem to find it on Steam so maybe a PS4 exclusive? That would be really nice for you PS4 guys! I'm still waiting for a price drop or a cool bundle to come along, are you people all enjoying your PS4s?

@#8 No it's not. I have it in my wishlist and get notification whenever something is on sale or for free via email... Unless you mean some trial period that expires after 2 days, because I know Steam has those every weekend. In any case, from what I saw, this will be better suited for my Ipad then console.

Yeah and Blizzard thought Diablo 3 couldn't be better on console. I'd rather play anything on console than anything else.

I give it a year or less until we see them on PS Plus. Right now these games will probably end up as best selling indie games, at least on Playstation that is
