SingStar: Ultimate Party
SingStar Striking Up a Song on PS4 With Microphone App

Having sold over 26 million copies on PS2 and PS3, SingStar will be making its way to PS4, complete with an app that transforms your smartphone into a mic. That means there's be no more dusty plastic microphone peripherals left lying around waiting for a SingStar party.

Instead, you'll be able to download the SingStar microphone app, which works with both the PS3 and upcoming PS4 versions of SingStar, and is compatible with most iOS and Android smartphones and devices. The app also enables you to create your own personal song playlists.

The social experience in SingStar is also set to be optimised, with Twitter and Facebook sharing integrated into the game. There'll also be a better scoring system, with XP rewarded for game activity or for challenging friends online.

SingStar will be heading to PS4 and SingStar: Ultimate Party will be coming to both PS3 and PS4 later this year, with a collection of 30 tracks included. There'll also be more available via the SingStore, where you can build a library of songs from a variety of genres.

#6 Yes, if you have already bought the track on PS3, and the song is available on PS4 then you won’t have to pay again.

This is good news for me. It's the only game my good lady wife will play with me. Nothing beats singing a Depeche Mode megamix with your life partner.
