Introduction

Trine 2: The Complete Story is a re-released version of Trine 2 that comes with the Goblin Menace Expansion. Trine 2: The Complete Story is a 2D side-scrolling puzzle platformer with some combat elements mixed in as well.

The game is easy for the most part and the trophies are straightforward. About a quarter of the trophies revolves around finishing each level, and another quarter of the trophies are some simple misc. trophies.

There are no missable trophies due to the level select feature and only one difficulty related trophy. It is recommended to do two playthroughs: One on a difficulty of your choosing getting a feel for the game’s mechanics, and another on hard difficulty with hardcore mode enabled.

You will have to explore around after the story and find all the collectibles in the game. Luckily there is a handy guide of YouTube videos showing how to get all the collectibles courtesy of YouTube user zqxinran.

The only real hard part of these trophies will be finishing the game on the hardest difficulty on hardcore mode. Other than that, it is a relatively easy and fun platinum that shouldn’t take you too much time. The platinum should take around 26-35 hours if you follow guides for collectibles but may vary depending on the skill of the player.

Walkthrough

Step 1: Play through the game on any difficulty finishing at Level 19.

Just play through the game, enjoy the story and have fun. You can go on any difficulty you want, but I would recommend Normal to give you somewhat of a challenge and to give you a little taste of what to expect from the enemies.

At this point you can try to go for the experience bubbles, but don’t worry about getting them all yet. Try to get any that seem easy, as they will help you level up and unlock more abilities. You can try to find secret areas as well, but for right now it is entirely dependent on the type of player you are.

Finish the game up until Chapter 19. Chapter 20 will still be locked. This level will only unlock after you find all the chests in levels 14-19, so most likely you will not have it, unless you have been exploring.

You may earn some misc. trophies along the way as well, but that shouldn’t be your prime focus in this step. After this you will have (almost) all of the story related trophies in the game with the exception of I Want More!.

At the end of this step, you will have earned the following:

Into the Story
Wild in Wilderness
Mudproof Hero
March Through the Marsh
Treehouse Adventure
No More Lizard Soup
Hostile Gardening
Funs with Fungi
Shrooms and Glooms
Pearl Diver
Sinister Plumbing
Hot and Cold
Through Dangers Untold
No Time to Change Clothes
Sunstroke
Indigestion
Grand Theft Aviation
I’m Walking in the Air
Happy Reunion

Step 2: Clean up using chapter select to find the remaining collectibles and finish the game.

Switch your difficulty to easy to speed past the combat. This will make it much easier to get all of the collectibles and will make the process go faster.

At this point, you should know your way around most of the puzzles in the game, and will be using YouTube user zqxinran’s guide videos to find the remaining collectibles. In each level there are experience bubbles, chests, and monster experience, all of which have trophies attached to them. Luckily his videos show all three, so as long as you follow his videos, you should be able to get all the collectibles easily. The trophies will unlock after finding the final collectible chest and experience.

After finding all the chests in Levels 14-19, level 20 will open up. At this point you can play the final level and finish the game.

At the end of this step, you will have earned the following:

I want more!
Lost and Found
Grand Collector

Step 3: Get all the miscellaneous trophies using chapter select.

At this point, the only trophies remaining in your first playthrough should be the misc. trophies. Most of them can be done anywhere, but certain ones are better to do in specific chapters. Some will require you to change the difficulty as well. Many are simple, but a few can be very difficult and require some practice. Many of the difficult ones have easier methods that are shown in YouTube user Vinster K’s guide series. These videos are very useful, but may not always follow the same method described for the individual trophies.

At the end of this step, you will have earned the following:

Pontius Transportation Company
I Didn't Do It
A Floral Feast
Hammer Havoc
Cirque de Zoya
Dirty Tactics
This Wasn't the Plan
Surfboard Master
Bouncy Bouncy
A Hail Of Arrows
Cannonball Rebound
High Rise
Wicked Collection
The Leaning Tower of Pontius
Mutually Assured Destruction
Off You Go
Play Catch
Catch This!
Icebreaker
Snowman
This is Trine!
Rafting
Pontius Baseball
O Solo Mio
Like a Shadow
Alone and Mighty
All Too Easy!

Step 4: Start your second playthrough on hard difficulty with hardcore mode enabled.

The hardest trophy in the game, Trine 2: The Complete Story’s hardcore mode on hard will push you to your limits, but only if you’re not playing it safe. This trophy isn’t as hard as people make it out to be.

You should know your way around most of the puzzles, so just breeze through the levels. Combat will be the most difficult part in this playthrough, but there are some exploits you can use to your advantage. You will be playing on the same save file, so there is no need to collect anything, and you will have all abilities unlocked from the beginning of the game.

There is some debate on whether this trophy is glitched or not, but if you play single player and not online co-op, it should not be an issue.

At the end of this step, you will have earned the following:

Walk in the Park
Trine 2 Hard

Congratulations on a fun and well-deserved platinum!

Glide for five seconds with Kitesail Shield while having an object or character on top of the shield (1)

This trophy is best completed in Level 2: Forlorn Wilderness, but can be done in any area with a large drop. To unlock this you will need to have purchased the following upgrades: Kitesail Shield and Magnetic Shield.

About halfway through the level, you will come to a part where there are a trio of Bouncy Mushrooms and a place where bubbles spawn after falling down a ridge. There will be a ledge with a chest to the right of the bubble spawn.

Go to the right of the mushrooms and switch to Amadeus. Make a single box () and set it on the ground. Switch to Pontius, have his sword and shield equipped, and press to activate his magnetic shield. Then point the shield at the box and the box using and the box should be magnetized to the shield. At this point, stand on a bubble with the shield pointed up (). Stay on the bubble until it is above the platform with the chest on your right. Keep the shield pointed up and move until you are gliding to the left, toward the mushrooms. The box should stay magnetized to the top of the shield as you glide.

After 5 seconds pass, the trophy will pop.

I Didn't Do It
Make goblins die of three different environmental hazards in a single level

You will most likely get this through natural play, but in the odd chance that you don’t, you can easily get this by replaying any level, and using the method described below. This is best unlocked after purchasing the following upgrade: Monster Leviation. Switch the difficulty to easy.

Environmental hazards include fire, acid, projectile-spewing plants, spikes, and plants that eat you whole. There are probably some I’m missing, but anything that is part of the environment and can hurt you counts as an environmental hazard.

Switch to Amadeus and use his monster levitation skill to pick up a monster by holding down . Put the monster in a position so that an environmental hazard will damage the monster and kill it. (E.g. Holding Goblin over fire, putting in acid, shoving into spikes.)

After you do this three times in a single level, the trophy will pop.

A Floral Feast
Feed carnivorous plants with three or more different kinds of treats (1)

You can only complete this trophy in Level 7: Hushing Grove. This is best unlocked after purchasing the following upgrade: Monster Levitation. Switch the difficulty to easy.

In this level you will come across plants that cannot be damaged and will eat you if you come near them.

At the start of the level, after defeating a batch of enemies, you will come across a checkpoint and the first of many plants. Above this first plant will be a wooden platform. Grapple onto this with Zoya and swing up on the top of it. There will be a bridge that will fall out under you. Get back up to the top or try to jump over the bridge and there will be one enemy, a shielded Goblin. Move this enemy with Amadeus’ monster levitation and feed it to any plant below. Then go to the right where many more enemies spawn.

Use Amadeus’ Monster Levitation to move them in range of the closest plant, the one right under you, holding until the plant eats it. You will have to feed the plant three different types of enemies. You can feed the plant an archer, a normal enemy, and an enemy with a shield.

Alternatively, at this point you can also position yourself on one side of a plant so that the enemies will rush at you and get eaten. Both methods work fine.

This trophy does not have to be done all at once, and it does not need to be the same plant. Rather, you just have to feed any plant with three different types of enemies by holding as Amadeus and moving them in range of the plant.

Once three different types of enemies are eaten by plants, the trophy will pop.

Hammer Havoc
Kill an enemy with a thrown hammer bouncing at least once before kill

This can be completed in any level with an open area. To unlock this you will need to have purchased the following upgrade: Hammer Throwing. Switch the difficulty to easy.

When you come across any enemies (preferably basic ones, without shields), switch to Pontius and aim the right stick towards the ground in about a 45 degree angle. Throw it once it is completely charged in the hope that it will hit the ground and bounce up and kill the enemy. If you are having trouble, wait until you find a single enemy.

For those who prefer a visual guide, here is a video demonstration courtesy of Youtube user Vinster K

The trophy will pop once the enemy has been killed with a bounced hammer throw.

Cirque de Zoya
Using grapple, swing around an object and reattach grapple again without touching any surface

This can be completed in any level with a grapple.

For this trophy you must grapple onto any object with Zoya and begin to swing. Once you are swinging to the max, press to jump off of the grapple. Quickly, without touching anything, you have to grapple back () onto the same object before touching the ground.

For those who prefer a visual guide, here is a video demonstration courtesy of Youtube user Vinster K

As soon as you grapple onto the object the second time, this trophy will pop.

Dirty Tactics
Get at least 10 enemies killed by other enemies' actions in a single level

This can be completed in any level as long as you follow the below method. This is best unlocked after purchasing the following upgrade: Frost Shield. Switch the difficulty to easy.

With Pontius (shield and sword equipped) walk into any place where enemies spawn. They will normally come in waves, so try to stay at the left edge of the fighting grounds. Move so that your shield defends you. Enemies will group up and try to attack you. The frost shield will freeze them in place after they try to hit you three times. Another enemy will charge through and try to kill you, killing his fellow enemy in the process. Repeat this method (continue to use the frost shield) and you should be able to get this trophy within one or two of the battles with enemy spawns.

Once 10 enemies are killed by another enemy, this trophy will pop.

This Wasn't the Plan
Make a bubble sink for three seconds

This can be completed in any level with a bubble spawn.

Position yourself so that you are in range and can see the bubble spawn. Switch to Amadeus and summon a box. Move the box with and position it over a bubble (preferably one high in the air). Then move so that the bubble visibly sinks down. It must sink for the whole three seconds.

For those who prefer a visual guide, here is a video demonstration courtesy of Youtube user Vinster K

After three seconds pass, this trophy will pop.

Surfboard Master
Stand on a plank floating on a single airflow for four seconds

This can be completed in any level with an airflow. To unlock this you will need to have purchased the following upgrade: Plank.

Switch to Amadeus and conjure up a plank ( in a line). Position it over the airflow so that the center in right above the airflow. Then jump on and try to make it for four seconds. This may take some luck, but after some trying, you will get it.

After 4 seconds pass riding the plank, the trophy will pop.

Bouncy Bouncy
Stand on a conjured box bouncing on any bouncy surface for 10 seconds

This is best completed in Level 2: Forlorn Wilderness.

About halfway through the level, you will come to a part where there are a trio of bouncy mushrooms and a place where bubbles spawn after falling down a ridge. There will be a ledge with a chest to the right of the bubble spawn.

Switch to Amadeus and conjure a box on top of the center mushroom. Quickly try to jump onto it and attempt to stay on. This will take some practice and luck, but it is possible.

For those who prefer a visual guide, here is a video demonstration courtesy of Youtube user Vinster K

After 10 seconds pass, the trophy will pop.

A Hail Of Arrows
Shoot three arrows in the air and catch them all with the Knight's shield (1)

This can be completed in any level with an open area.

Switch to Zoya and quickly shoot 3 arrows in succession of another into the air. Try not to draw the bow for too long, as some of the high arrows get hard to catch. Instead try doing 3 moderately high arrows. As soon as your three arrows are shot, quickly switch to Pontius and point his shield up (), and try to catch the arrows.

For those who prefer a visual guide, here is a video demonstration courtesy of Youtube user Vinster K

After you catch all three arrows, the trophy will pop.

Cannonball Rebound
Kill a grenadier goblin with its own cannonball

This is best completed in Level 17: Brackenridge Rise. Switch the difficulty to easy.

The first enemy you will encounter in this level is a Grenadier Goblin. He will be in a trench. Switch to Pontius and point your shield in front of you (). The grenadier will shoot cannonballs at you. These will hit your shield and bounce off, and go down the trench, where they will explode next to him. It can take up to 3 or 4 cannonballs to kill him.

For those who prefer a visual guide, here is a video demonstration courtesy of Youtube user Vinster K

As soon as the Grenadier Goblin dies by cannonball, the trophy will pop.

High Rise
Construct a tower made of eight objects and stand on top of it

This is best completed in Level 2: Forlorn Wilderness. To unlock this, you will need to have purchased the following upgrade: 3 conjured objects.

Shortly after you encounter the first Goblins, you will come to an area with swinging boulders and a grappling area. Underneath this area, there are 5 crates, some of which with experience inside. Switch to Amadeus.

Stack the 5 crates on top of each other between 2 platforms, it does not matter which side. Now climb up to the top of the center platform, and hold on the boulder to get it to stop swinging. This is so that the boulder will not hit the tower. After it is not swinging make 3 boxes (or planks) and climb to the top. There should be 8 objects in this tower.

For those who prefer a visual guide, here is a video demonstration courtesy of Youtube user Vinster K

The trophy will pop as soon as you stand on top of the tower.

Wicked Collection
Capture three different types of enemies inside boxes and stack them on top of another

This is best completed in Level 7: Hushing Grove. To unlock this, you will need to have purchased the following upgrades: 3 conjured objects and Monster Prison. Switch the difficulty to easy.

After you pass an area with a single plant and a switch, you will climb a platform and go to a new area. You will come across a tree stump where more enemies spawn. Switch to Amadeus and capture an archer, a normal goblin, and a shielded goblin by drawing a box around them using . Clear out the rest of the enemies, making sure you still have your three captured. Once the enemies are cleared, stack the crates on top of one another so that they are all in a tower.

For those who prefer a visual guide, here is a video demonstration courtesy of Youtube user Vinster K

Once the third type of enemy is set down on top of the others, the trophy will pop.

The Leaning Tower of Pontius
Build a three-piece or three-character tower where lowest part is Pontius and his shield, tower must stand at least five seconds

This can be completed in any level with an open area. To unlock this, you will need to have purchased the following upgrades: 3 conjured objects, Magnetic shield, and Metal Magnetizing.

Start off by having Amadeus conjure up three small boxes using . Then magnetize them to each other by pressing . Switch to Pontius and point his shield at the three boxes and press to activate his magnetic shield. Then point the shield up and let the boxes balance.

For those who prefer a visual guide, here is a video demonstration courtesy of Youtube user Vinster K

After five seconds pass, the trophy will pop.

Mutually Assured Destruction
Make a sandworm kill another sandworm

This can only be completed in Level 15: Deadly Dustland. Switch the difficulty to easy.

After roaming around in the desert, you will come to a cactus and a gap you must cross. After crossing this gap and reaching the checkpoint, two sandworms will spawn, one on each side. Use any character and repeatedly jump up. The sandworms will target you when you are in the air and shoot projectiles at you. These projectiles will go past you and damage the other sandworm. Keep repeating this until one sandworm has died from the projectiles.

For those who prefer a visual guide, here is a video demonstration courtesy of Youtube user Vinster K

As soon as one sandworm dies due to the other one, the trophy will pop.

Off You Go
Capture a goblin in a Monster Prison and then launch it with a catapult

This is best completed in Level 14: The Heroes Return. To unlock this, you will need to have purchased the following upgrade: Monster Prison.

Shortly after starting the level and going outside you will come across some platforms in order to reach a ledge. After you get up onto the ledge, you will come across a catapult. There will be enemies within range of you on the other side of the screen. Switch to Amadeus and draw a box around one of the enemies using . Grab the box (with monster inside) and set it on the catapult. Then use the switch to launch the enemy.

For those who prefer a visual guide, here is a video demonstration courtesy of Youtube user Vinster K

The trophy will pop as soon as the enemy leaves the catapult.

Play Catch
Throw a box with Pontius' magnetic shield and catch it or have another player catch it

This can be completed in any level with an open area. To unlock this, you will need to have purchased the following upgrade: Magnetic shield.

Switch to Amadeus and conjure up a box (). Switch to Pontius and press to magnetize the box. Then point the shield up with and press to launch the box into the air. As it starts to fall again, press as Pontius to “catch” the box.

The trophy will pop as soon as you catch the box.

Catch This!
Kill an enemy with an airborne object tossed with the Knight's charge

This is best completed in Level 6: Shadowed Halls. To unlock this, you will need to have purchased the following upgrade: Charge.

At a point in this level you will come upon two fire spewing pipes. You have to take a pipe out to stop the fire so that you can pass through. The fire will instead hit a cauldron where lizards will infinitely spawn. Go on top of the cauldron and go left and upwards, continuing until you reach an indestructible block. Switch to Amadeus and conjure up a box, then put the indestructible box on top of it, positioning it so that Pontius can jump on top of the conjured box and have room to charge the second box. Go back down to the cauldron and lure a lizard up after you. Run back to the boxes you created and switch to Pontius. Go on top of the first box, but not the second, and wait until the lizard is in view. Then press to charge the indestructible block and it should hit the lizard.

For those who prefer a visual guide, here is a video demonstration courtesy of Youtube user Vinster K

The trophy will pop as soon as the lizard is killed.

Icebreaker
Shatter three frozen enemies within one second

This can be completed in any level with multiple enemies. To unlock this, you will need to have purchased the following upgrades: Frozen arrows, charge, and monster levitation. Switch the difficulty to hard.

Get in a group with multiple enemies and switch to Zoya. Equip frozen arrows and shoot three enemies until they are frozen. Then switch to Amadeus and position them very close to each other (side by side by side) using monster levitation. Switch to Pontius and press to charge through them all at once.

For those who prefer a visual guide, here is a video demonstration courtesy of Youtube user Vinster K

The trophy will pop as soon as all enemies are killed within one second.

Snowman
Freeze two enemies and stack them on top of each other

This can be completed on any level with multiple enemies. To unlock this, you will need to have purchased the following upgrades: Frozen arrows, and Monster Levitation. Switch the difficulty to hard.

Get in a group with two or more enemies and switch to Zoya. Equip frozen arrows and shoot two enemies until they are frozen. Switch to Amadeus and press to levitate one of the frozen monsters. Very carefully set it down on top of the other. It will most likely fall off, but it will still count.

The trophy will pop after the second frozen monster is placed on top of the first.

This is Trine!
Kick five enemies of the same kind into a bottomless pit with the Thief's grappling hook kick or the Knight's Kitesail Shield glide kick

This is best completed in Level 12: Icewarden Keep. To unlock this, you will need to have purchased the following upgrades: Monster Prison, and 4 conjured objects.

This has to be done with five of the exact same enemy, so it is recommended you do this with normal goblins.

After passing the part where you have to use the lava to melt the ice, you will come upon a wheel that will move a platform. Just past this platform enemies will spawn. Move the wheel so that the platforms raised, then conjure up a box with the wizard and set it on top of the right part of the wheel so that the platform will stay up. Run up, past the platform, and immediately run back and down under the platform. You will be in a safe spot as long as the platform stays up.

Use Amadeus’ monster levitation conjure a box around each goblin using . Move the boxes with goblins in them to the left side of the area you are standing on. Kill every enemy except for 4 that are in boxes. Go to the left and set a box right next to the edge. Press on the box and quickly switch to Pontius. Point your shield upward and jump, so you start to glide. Then shove yourself into the newly freed goblin and it should go over the edge.

For those who prefer a visual guide, here is a video demonstration courtesy of Youtube user Vinster K

Repeat this five times with the same enemy and the trophy will pop. (You may have to complete this level again, but it is possible to get five enemies in one playthrough.)

Rafting
Create a makeshift raft of three separate parts and have a goblin sail it for five seconds

This is best completed in Level 10: Searock Castle. To unlock this, you will need to have purchased the following upgrades: Plank, Monster Prison, and 3 conjured objects.

Shortly after the start of the level, you will come across an area where there are two platforms with switches activating them. There will also be fire spewing over one of the switches. Go to the left of this and jump in the water. Go down and to the right where there will be four of the explosive long barrels. Move all of these to the left so that they float to the surface, then push them together. Get back in the place you were with the switches and switch to Amadeus. Conjure a plank and put it over the four barrels.

Trigger the switches and go up to the next area. This will be an area where enemies spawn. Conjure up a box so when the fight begins you can get back up. Then jump down, trigger the cutscene and go back above the arena. There will be a shielded goblin where you were. Go one ledge below where you were and capture the goblin in a monster prison. Then carry him down to the area with the switches and set it down on top of the plank. Make sure the raft is still intact. Press to break the box so the goblin is floating on the raft. Switch to Zoya and enter her disguise mode () so that the goblin won’t kill itself trying to get to you.

For those who prefer a visual guide, here is a video demonstration courtesy of Youtube user Vinster K

After five seconds, the trophy will pop.

Pontius Baseball
Launch an object with Knight's magnetic shield and break it with hammer before the object touches the ground

This can be done in any level with an open area. To unlock this, you will need to have purchased the following upgrades: Hammer Throwing, and Magnetic Shield.

Switch to Amadeus and conjure up a large box. Switch to Pontius and point his shield towards the box and press to magnetize it. Point the shield upward with the box on top of it and press again. This will launch it into the air. Quickly equip your hammer and point it upwards using the right stick (). Release when the box gets close and the hammer should break the box before it hits the ground.

For those who prefer a visual guide, here is a video demonstration courtesy of Youtube user Vinster K

The trophy will pop as soon as the box is broken.

O Solo Mio
Complete a level with only Amadeus

This is best done in Level 2: Forlorn Wilderness. It is recommended to have this character fully upgraded before attempting this trophy.

You must start as Amadeus to get the trophy. If you are not Amadeus, switch to him, then go to level select to restart the level. It will not count unless you are Amadeus throughout the entire level.

Most of this level can be completed by conjuring a plank, standing on it, and having Amadeus move the plank while he stands on top of it. This is useful in skipping all of the platforming puzzles. If there is a wood barrier blocking your path, you can conjure a box and smash it into the barrier, which will break it. As for combat sections, just use the Monster Prison skill to capture the enemies and then try to kill them by use of environmental hazards.

If you are having trouble on this level, Level 3 is also very easy to do as well, but has less puzzles.

This trophy will pop once the level of your choice has been completed with Amadeus.

Like a Shadow
Complete a level with only Zoya

This is best completed in Level 2: Forlorn Wilderness. It is recommended to have this character fully upgraded before attempting this trophy.

Most of the puzzles are fairly easy and can be solved by standing on something or shooting something with an explosive arrow. Make good use of your low gravity arrow as well, because it can be very useful in getting across gaps or skipping over puzzles. As for combat, use a combination of frozen and explosive arrows.

This trophy will pop once the level of your choice has been completed with Zoya.

Alone and Mighty
Complete a level with only Pontius (4)

This is best completed in Level 13: The Final Chapter. It is recommended to have this character fully upgraded before attempting this trophy. Switch the difficulty to easy.

While this may seem like a bad idea, Pontius cannot solve puzzles or grapple, so completing any level with him can be impossible to beat. Level 13 however is a boss fight, and you can repeatedly just use his hammer throwing ability to damage the boss. Make sure to take advantage of the checkpoint that will replenish your health when you get near it.

This trophy will pop once the level of your choice has been completed with Pontius.

I want more!
Complete the game (2)

Story-related, cannot be missed.

This trophy will pop upon completion of Level 20: Dwarven Caverns.

All Too Easy!
Finish a level without taking any damage (except in the Story Begins)

This is best completed in Level 2: Forlorn Wilderness. It is recommended to have all characters fully upgraded before attempting this trophy as it will make it much easier. Switch the difficulty to easy.

Level 2 has easy puzzles, not too many environmental hazards, and not many enemies to defeat. Take it slow and play defensively. When going into a fight, switch to Pontius and use his shield to let enemies damage each other. The frost shield will freeze the closest enemy, and the others will kill the frozen goblin, making it so that you only have to kill the last survivor, who will also be frozen.

If you take any damage at all, restart the level using chapter select. While it may take some practice, this trophy is not as hard as it seems.

Lost and Found
Find all chests in the game

See Grand Collector.

Grand Collector
Collect all experience pickups in the game (3)

Experience pickups are the blue floating orbs, vials, or large vials you will come across in every level. The vials can be moved with other objects, while the orbs cannot be moved and you will have to obtain them by reaching them with a character. There are normally over 100 of these in each level, and it will take a while to find them all.

There is also monster experience, which is obtained by defeating enemies. This type of experience will float to you after about 10 seconds of defeating the enemy, so it won’t prove too much of an issue.

You must collect all of the monster experience and level experience in all levels in order to get the trophy.

Thankfully, YouTube user zqxinran has allowed us to use his video guides of every level in this guide. His guides cover all experience pickups as well as all monster experience and chests. Each video under the specific level will bring you to the video guide for the level and will link you to the playlist so that you can continue through the level. Some levels will have multiple videos, and they are in chronological order.

When watching the videos, keep in mind that some vials are worth more than others and that some experience is still hidden when watching someone get it. It is recommended to watch the whole video instead of trying to look around for something you may have missed.

Walk in the Park
Complete the game on hard using hardcore mode (10)

Potentially glitched if you play online

Play this on the same save as your first playthrough so that you have all upgrades available from the start. Upon start of each level, make sure the difficulty settings are correct.

Hardcore mode gives you 1 life per character, only available to replenish at checkpoints (to half health) and if all three characters die, you’ll have to restart the level again. You will have to complete every level (including level 20) in order to unlock this trophy. Use every resource at your disposal and everything you have learned from your first playthrough.

The main tip I can give on this is to know each level. Knowing both the enemy spawns and the tricky platforming is the key in this mode. Playing defensively and letting enemies kill each other is the way to go. As for direct combat, use Pontius with the frost shield. Enemies will run into your shield, freeze themselves, and another enemy will kill them. Also if you can, back out of an enemy encounter and use Amadeus to kill Goblins using environmental hazards.

You don’t have to worry about experience or chests, because you’ll be playing this on the same save you completed the game on originally. As long as you play and beat each level on hard (with hardcore mode enabled) the trophy will pop. The main upside to doing this is that you will have all your upgrades from the start of the game. This is extremely useful in skipping risky platforming sections or getting out of dangerous enemy encounters.

The levels that will be the most difficult will be Level 10: Searock Castle and Level 12: Icewarden Keep. The sheer longevity of these levels combined with bosses that can kill you in 1 hit make these levels the toughest of them all. Luckily there are methods you can find that let you manipulate certain boss fights.

I did experience a glitch with this trophy, but it is not a widespread issue. I had completed levels 1-19 and beaten the final boss. However, because the credits are on an endless loop, I quit the game and then played level 20. The trophy did not pop. I replayed level 19 and the trophy popped during the credits. Because of this, I recommend to play Levels 1-18 and 20 first, and then finish with Level 19.

The trophy will pop upon completion of the final level you beat with hard difficulty and hardcore mode enabled.
