SAVE CORRUPTION WARNING: Currently. the latest patch of the game corrupts your System/Save File and messes up several game options like Sound, QuickSave/Load if you download and install the patch after you’ve started the game and created a System File on Vita (if similar problem occurs on PS4 version, please let me know). Either don’t download the update file (which is not advisable as it fixes a few minor problems) or download it before you start up the game for the first time.

Walkthrough:

Step 1 - Play through the game once and reach any of the endings, while utilizing save points

Steins;Gate 0 is a prequel/interquel/sequel (yeah, all of those apply if you know what Steins;Gate is all about) to the highly acclaimed original Steins;Gate Visual Novel and just like original game it’s also a pure Visual Novel, which means you will read a lot of text. Unlike the original, however, you don’t really need to pay any attention to messages you receive throughout the game as they have no impact on trophies this time (except two, which require you to reply to any one of them and ignore any one of them). Instead, which chapters you will read and which endings you will unlock is determined by your actions towards Amadeus System and whether you answer or ignore their calls.

Just like the previous game (and most VNs in general) you can set your Skip Text settings to All and skip all text to reach the platinum within a couple of hours using this walkthrough. If you don’t change any of your other settings game should quicksave at any point you receive a message, call or start a new chapter, which is quite useful especially if you want to complete the game and see all endings yourselves.

Play and enjoy the game at your own pace, this time around chapters are not numbered as the game is not as linear as the original, so don’t worry if you unlock a hidden trophy that is further down the line on your trophy list.

Step 2 - Complete the game with other endings, reach True Ending, read all TIPS, clean up

Once you complete the game once, you will unlock several bonuses under Extras, simply check all of those at least once to unlock their related trophies.

Either start over or load any of your saves where you receive a call from Amadeus and choose the opposite action (answer if you ignored before / ignore if you answered before) to reach other chapters/endings. Again, since the game structure is not linear this time around, you have to do this for each Amadeus call or consider using this walkthrough. Also be sure to reply to any of the RINE messages and ignore at least one of them to unlock 2 related trophies if you haven’t already.

To unlock True Ending route you must clear the game with “Promised Rinascimento” ending first.

When you complete the game with all endings, the only trophy you should have left is reading all TIPS. Simply read all of them (make sure none of them have “New” icon next to them) and you will unlock the trophy along with your platinum.

100% CG Unlocked
Saw all CG.

Seeing all CGs in this game is a lot easier than the previous game. You will see every CG available in the game as soon as you complete the game with every ending, there are no hidden/secret CGs that require you to reply to other people.

Endings also unlock additional CGs in form of promotional artwork, so you won’t unlock this trophy until after the credits of your final ending.

Enki the All-Knowing
Saw all TIPS.

Similar to the 100% CG trophy, unlocking and seeing all TIPS is a lot easier than the previous game. You will unlock almost all TIPS through natural progression. There are only a couple easy to miss ones. Simply ignore the first two Amadeus calls until Okabe answers automatically to receive them.

After you acquire them all (or while you are playing the game) press and read all your available TIPS until they no longer have “New” next to them. You will unlock the trophy once you’ve read them all, which will most likely be during the chapter “Milky-way Crossing”.

Resonating Reaction Renvoir
Answered a message from someone.

Throughout the game, Okabe will receive RINE messages from his friends. Unlike in the first game, where they unlocked additional trophies or endings, they can be completely ignored in this game after you’ve replied to a message using any of the choices. They offer some extra dialogs with other characters though so it’s worthwhile to keep replying to them if you are interested in the story. Just don’t forget to ignore a message for Message of Oblivion Renvoir trophy.

Message of Oblivion Renvoir
Read and ignored a message.

Simply read an incoming RINE message and back out without sending a reply and you will unlock this trophy after you complete the game with any of the endings.

You can be sure that you will earn this trophy once you receive another RINE message some textboxes later from the same person in form of an image.
