Introduction:
This game is all about doing workouts and getting in shape, and Mel B, one of the girls from Spice Girls, wants to lead you to a better life with workouts and recipes for healthy food.

I didn't expect much of the game when I first picked it up. I had just ordered a Move starterpack, and then I found this game for REALLY cheap, in fact the cheapest I've ever purchased a PS3 game for. I have to say this is one of the best workout games I've ever seen, not that it says a lot, but it seems very professional and I've heard by many that it works.

There are two versions of this game, the NA version and the EU version, and there is one major difference between these two versions. In the NA version you need to have and use PlayStation Eye, Move controller and a step, while in the EU version you can skip it altogether and just play without. The way they solved it in the EU version without the PlayStation Eye and Move controller is by you telling the game how well you've done after each exercise. I think this was a good choice, seeing as how badly the PlayStation Eye and Move controller are able to see if you've done it correctly or not. The two versions don't stack, so if you are stuck at something on the NA version, you might want to consider purchasing the EU version to get the platinum. I don't think it's too bold of me to say that this game (EU) has the easiest Platinum trophy on the entire console.

Since I don't have the NA version, I got some help from D_Empiror, who got the Platinum from the NA version of the game, to confirm everything in the guide and he also gave me several good tips that I've added to the guide. He also told me he lost more weight playing this game than he did after 6 years in the gym. I guess the game works! Keeps you more motivated, especially the NA version.

Road Map


Preparations:

1. Main Menu->Options->Equipment->Add every equipment->OK.
This will allow you to select all workout categories.


Step 1 (the serious workout):

The goal of this step:
1. Get to level 100 in 3 different categories. Not all categories are as fast and easy to level up in, so I recommend the 3 categories Dance, Cardio and Step, and I highly discourage trying to get to level 100 in the two categories Fitness and Pump 'n' Tone.
2. Do a workout for 60 minutes.
3. Collect 360 stars in a Dance Aerobics Workout.

How to do it:
1. Do a non-custom workout in a category you want to get to level 100 in, and after the first workout she will ask you how difficult you thought it was. Always tell her it was too easy. This will make you start out at level 75 in that category.
2. To level up, you need to do non-custom workouts, and the better you do in them the more likely you are to level up. I wrote down some tips for you below...
3. One of the Dance Aerobics Workouts should last for 60 minutes, and I recommend doing it when your Dance level is at around level 90-95.

Tips:

  • To make it easier for the PlayStation Eye to see you do it all correctly, you should put on some clothes that aren't the same color as the background, and the floor should preferably be in a different color, and of course nothing should be in the same color as your skin. Lots of light helps as well.
  • If she thinks you are doing it perfectly, then it is perfect, even if you're not doing the correct movement.
  • You can pause the game whenever you feel you need to by pressing or the button. Might not be too easy to get back into the correct position though.
  • Whenever the game doesn't register you well, you may want to press to enter the tutorial mode and adjust your PlayStation Eye properly. It will also restart your score for that exercise.



Step 2 (the less serious workout):

The goal of this step:
1. 20 workouts in each of the categories.
2. Workout every day for 2 weeks.
3. Check what's on the menu every day for a week.

How to do it:
1. Main Menu->Workout->Custom Workout->choose exercise type->(choose aerobics type->)->Minimum Repetitions->Add->OK->Warm-Ups: Off->Cool-Downs: Off->OK->Once only->OK->Start Workout->complete the workout. (Important to select "Once only" to reduce the time for each workout from 15 minutes to some few seconds.)
2. Do this 20 times in each of the 7 categories, or if you've done workouts in the category before then it's until the trophy for doing it pops.
3. While you do the 20 workouts in each category, you should also try to get the trophy for doing a workout every day for 2 weeks. All you need to do is to quit the game after each workout and then go into the time and date settings on your PS3 and change it to the next day.
4. While you do a workout every day for 2 weeks, you should also click in on the Nutrition menu every day for a whole week. (Main Menu->Nutrition->Click on any meal icon OR "More..." button). On the 8th day you do this, the trophy will unlock, but you may have to wait for almost a minute before you actually get it.


Step 3 (clean up):

Now it's time to get the few last trophies you miss. They should be few and very easy to understand how to get by reading the trophy guide, so do that now.

If there is something you are not able to do, feel free to ask for help, and you may also want to consider getting the EU version of this game.

Do 1000 press-ups, and not the knee version.
This trophy is accumulative, so you don't need to get them all in a single workout.
Main Menu->Workout->Custom Workout->Fitness->Press-ups->96->Add->OK->(Warm-Ups: you decide->Cool-Downs: you decide)->OK->90->OK->Start Workout, and do press-ups until you get the trophy, then to quit the workout.
Even though you're not supposed to do the knee version, then you can still choose in the game to do press-ups on toes and in reality trick the game by doing the knee version in real life.

Abs Of Steel
Done 1000 long-arm crunches 

Do 1000 long-arm crunches, and not the knee version.
This trophy is accumulative, so you don't need to get them all in a single workout.
Main Menu->Workout->Custom Workout->Fitness->Long-arm crunches->96->Add->OK->(Warm-Ups->you decide and Cool-Downs->you decide)->OK->90->OK->Start Workout, and do long-arm crunches until you get the trophy, then to quit the workout.

Bring It On
Raised any category's Fitness Level by 10 

Raise the level in a category by 10.

Driven
You have exercised every day for two weeks

Reps are short for repetitions. A workout usually contains different exercises which involves doing a certain motion repeatedly, and these motions are the repetitions they mean here.
It's accumulative and you will probably get it around your 10th non-custom workout.

Flash Dancer
Collected over 350 Stars in a Dance Aerobics Workout 

You need to collect over 350 stars in a single Dance workout.
This is easier to get if you have set the workout time at something very high and do well.
I recommend doing this as a 60 minutes workout, so you can get the trophy 60 Min Burn at the same time.

Going Up?
Climbed the equivalent of the Empire State Building 

You will get this from doing Step workouts. It will pop long before you've done enough non-custom Step workouts to get to level 100.
To do Step workouts, you will need to tell the game that you got a step. (Main Menu->Options->Equipment->Step->Add)
You may also just create your own custom workout where you repeat the "Step on, step off" exercise until you get it.

Pumped
Lifted the equivalent of a SUV in Pump and Tone 

You will get this from doing Pump 'n' Tone workouts.
If you don't get it before you're done with all your Pump 'n' Tone workouts, then you may also just create your own custom workout where you repeat the "Squats with bicep curls (Weights)" exercise until you get it.
To do Pump 'n' Tone workouts, you will need to tell the game that you got Wrist Weights and Ankle Weights. (Main Menu->Options->Equipment->Wrist Weights->Add->Ankle Weights->Add)

20 Run
Done 20 good reps in a row 

You need to do 20 reps in a row with over 80% rating.

Tips:

  • The better you do while you work out the more likely you are to level up.
  • Some workout categories are easier to level up in, and I can confirm these are easy: Dance, Cardio and Step. These will only take around 10-15 rounds of 15 minute workouts to level up to level 100.
  • You may want to do 20 minute workouts, even though you don't have to do more than 15 minute workouts, because it's easier to get a higher score then.
  • After the first workout in a new category she will ask you how difficult you thought it was, and if you tell her it was too easy, you will start out at level 75 in that category.
