Dreamfall Chapters ~ Platinum Walkthrough (Text)
 


Dreamfall Chapters is an episodic adventure game that is similar to Telltale Games' video games. The game was originally released on the PC consisting of five episodes (they are called Books) between October 21st, 2014 to June 17th, 2016. On May 5th, 2017, an updated 'Final Cut' version was released both physically and digitally for the PlayStation 4. You will play as three different protagonist characters:

  1. Zoë Castillo
  2. Kian Alvane
  3. Saga

Trophy-wise, Dreamfall Chapters is a game all about story, choices and consequences, dreams and reality, magic and science, and chaos and order. These things lead to different causes and effects and some of them are related to trophies that can be missed. There is a total of 26 missable trophies and the rest are story related. Even though some of these trophies can also be missable, they can also become story related if you picked a certain choice. The thing about this is the fact that some of these choices are in different Books and will unlock in a different Book as long as the requirements were met previously. Additionally, there are a few miscellaneous trophies that can be missed if you aren't aware of them.

All in all, I recommend you follow a Platinum Walkthrough. It will save you a great deal of time. This is also a very long game with long loading screen times. Not only that, but some of these characters have a habit of talking a lot. You can press to skip through some dialogue but it doesn't skip through important story dialogue. Additionally, it's going to take at least 2 different playthroughs to obtain the Platinum Trophy because you can only obtain 40 out of 46 trophies from a perfect playthrough. The 2nd playthrough will require you to play from Book One to Book Four and the Platinum Trophy will unlock during Book Four as long as you followed the walkthrough correctly.

With that out of the way, if you wish to do a blind playthrough without using a guide or walkthrough, feel free to do so, but this Trophy Guide will be written to obtain the trophies in only 2 Playthroughs.

Step 1: Complete the game while obtaining nearly every possible trophy (40/46 trophies)

During this playthrough, I highly recommend you to follow the Dreamfall Chapters ~ Platinum Walkthrough (Text). This step is based on everything written within Playthrough 1 of that Platinum Walkthrough. Simply following it will net you 40 out of 46 trophies. There are 5 trophies that you cannot get from the first playthrough which are the following:

  1. She's so cute!
  2. Stop the presses!
  3. Likho-time
  4. A farewell to Kidbot
  5. Single mans

Don't worry, those trophies will require a 2nd playthrough from Book One to Book Four. If you follow the walkthrough you should finish this playthrough in about 7-20 hours on average. For more information, please refer to the Trophy Guide Section.

At the end of this step, you should have the following trophies:

Book One: Reborn - The unknown path for Shitbot's trophies and meet requirements to get Arn Stont's message for his wife.

Step 2: Complete the 2nd Playthrough while obtaining the remaining 5 trophies you couldn't get from the first Playthrough

This is the final step for the Platinum Trophy. At the main menu, press and select either Slot 2 or Slot 3. This will simply start a new game while keeping the Save File in Slot 1. There's no need to do this though, feel free to do so. You're going to be playing from Book One all the way to Book Four where the Platinum Trophy will end up unlocking for you. Again, this is based on the Dreamfall Chapters ~ Platinum Walkthrough (Text). Everything written within Playthrough 2 of that Platinum Walkthrough will net you the remaining 5 trophies and Platinum. Additionally, it should be noted that Book Five is not necessary. You should finish this playthrough in about 5-10 hours on average.

At the end of this step, you should have the following trophies:

Book One: Reborn - The familiar path for Kidbot's trophies

Secret Trophies
 
The beginning of the end
Zoë left Storytime and was reborn.  

Story related and cannot be missed.

This trophy will unlock near the end of Chapter 1: The Storytime, where Zoë will have a conversation with herself by using her mind reading powers. Select Home and then Find out to proceed with the story. These two choices will cause Zoë to embrace who she is and who she will be. Leading to the game's first Decision Point which will have major consequences for the story and gameplay.

Decision Points:

  1. The unknown path: This choice will later unlock Wel-ding!
    "I'm ready for a change."
     
  2. The familiar path: This choice will later unlock She's so cute!
    "I used to know exactly what I wanted to do with my life. I don't know why I lost faith, but... it's time to find my way back."

You need two playthroughs anyway, so you will end up doing both. Either of the above choices will unlock the trophy.

The cold, cold sea
Kian escaped Friar's Keep and was reborn.  

Story related and cannot be missed.

This trophy will unlock near the end of Chapter 2: Friar's Keep, where Kian and Balsay Bachim make it to the rooftop of the Friar's Keep prison. Balsay will tell Kian to block the gate by using the lever. Quickly run towards the gate and use the lever. If you fail to do this in time, the guards will automatically kill Kian with 3 arrows to the heart. You will respawn to retry again. Once the gate has been blocked, arm yourself with a weapon by picking up the sword to the left of the gate. Now return back to Balsay (he's called The Captain) and talk to him. He will tell Kian that the only way out of the Friar's Keep prison is through a portal created by magic. However, only one of them can pass through the portal before it closes and it requires a sacrifice. This portal is dark magic and it requires blood, pain and a life.

Decision Points:

  1. Spare his life:
    "How many more deaths before this night is over? No, there's been enough bloodshed. I don't want another life on my conscience. I'd rather risk death."
     
  2. Run him through:
    "His eyes speak the truth. He has embraced death in a way I never could. Where I only saw defeat, he sees victory. I don't know where this path may lead, but what choice do I have now?"

Either of the above choices will unlock the trophy.

Choice & consequence
Delivered the boyfriend's lunch.  

Story related and cannot be missed.

This trophy will unlock during Chapter 2: Propast, where Zoë will be tasked with getting lunch for her boyfriend Reza. At the start of the chapter, you'll be outside the Seshadai Tower. Walk towards the Nela Bites food cart watch the woman (Nela) getting harassed by two EYE operatives about not having a permit. Reza will call Zoë and then you need to talk to Nela to get his lunch. You have a choice between Pork Sausages or Cheese Soup. Either choice really doesn't matter, so choose whatever you want.

Now you need to drop Reza's lunch off at The Hand That Feeds, which is down by the riverside. To find this building turn around and head straight down the main path. To the right will be a ramp going down. Head down this ramp and then turn left to go down two flights of stairs. From the stairs head straight down the alley, turn right and keep going straight down this path until you see a large fountain called Collapse memorial. You want to turn left and follow the path. You should now see a The Hand That Feeds logo sign on the right wall. It's pointing to the entrance, so follow it around the right corner. You should now see another The Hand That Feeds logo sign, only this time on a door. Interact with this door to enter the building. Inside the building, head up the small stairs and walk towards Reza who's on the left. Talk to him and he'll ask about Zoë's therapy. You'll have a choice between Change subject or Talk about it. Either of these choices will unlock the trophy, so choose whatever you want.

Wel-ding!
Completed work at the Pandemonium.

Required Decision Point: You must select The unknown path during Chapter 1: The Storytime.

This trophy will only unlock if you selected The unknown path Decision Point during the end of Chapter 1: The Storytime. During Chapter 2: Propast, after delivering the boyfriend's lunch you'll get the goal to head to work at the Pandemonium, in the Bricks. Return back to the Collapse memorial, turn right and head straight down this passage until you enter the area with pink lights. To the left of this area is a garage with the words Pandemonium painted on it. Walk towards the Buzzer next to the garage and interact with it to get granted access inside. Inside the building, talk to Mira and she will want you to activate the Shitbot. Take the Shitbot outside for testing.

When you're outside, the chapter is now titled Chapter 2: At work. Talk to the Shitbot and complete the four following tasks:

  1. Human Interaction
  2. Bot-to-bot interface
  3. Repair program
  4. Security Program

I recommend doing them in the order I have listed above. Although, the order in which you complete them doesn't really matter. If you need assistance on how to complete them all, please refer to the Dreamfall Chapters ~ Platinum Walkthrough (Text). After finishing the final test, interact with the Shitbot and you'll automatically be back inside the Pandemonium building. Walk towards Mira and talk to her, the trophy unlocks after the conversation comes to an end.

Required Decision Point: You must select The familiar path during Chapter 1: The Storytime.

This trophy will only unlock if you selected The familiar path Decision Point during the end of Chapter 1: The Storytime. During Chapter 2: Propast, after delivering the boyfriend's lunch you'll get the goal to head to work at the laboratory, on the walkway above Kaprova. To make this simpler, return back upstairs where Nela Bite's is at. On the catwalk, go right, turn right, and go down the stairs on the left. There should be a door labeled Lab at the end of this path on the right. Interact with this door to enter the building. Inside the lab, walk inside the room and Ada will automatically talk to you. She will tell you that she has purchased a refurbished bot to help with the test. This bot is Kidbot and you must take the bot with you to run tests. After getting Kidbot, simply head outside for testing.

When you're outside, the chapter is now titled Chapter 2: At work. Talk to the Kidbot and follow her to place the algae in the river. There are two of these tests that need to be completed. If you need assistance on how to complete them, please refer to the Dreamfall Chapters ~ Platinum Walkthrough (Text). After finishing the final test, interact with Kidbot and Mira should talk to you. After the conversation, Zoë and Kidbot will automatically return back to the Lab. Walk inside the room and Ada will automatically talk to you and the trophy will unlock after the conversation comes to an end.

Makoya!
Finished today's volunteer work.  

Story related and cannot be missed.

This trophy will unlock near the end of Chapter 2: On the campaign trail, where Zoë will need to return back to Baruti at the election headquarters. When you get there, you will see Mr London in a hostile confrontation with Baruti. You're given the choice to either interfere with the confrontation and stop the fight or stay out of it completely. The choice is yours, but you do have a limited amount of time to make the choice. If you choose to interfere, simply walk closer to Mr London to automatically interfere with the confrontation. After you made your choice, walk towards Baruti and talk to him. You'll be given two different choices of Go home or Explore. I recommend that you select Go home to instantly unlock the trophy and move into Chapter 2: Home. If you choose to Explore, you basically free roam Propast until you found Zoë's apartment and enter it.

Saga
The Balance has been rattled.  

Story related and cannot be missed.

This trophy will unlock at the end of Interlude: The House of All Worlds, where you'll play as the third playable character named Saga. She's an infant during this chapter and you're stuck in a crib. To climb out of the crib, you need to interact with the pillow. A floating spirit will be at the doorway whispering Saga's name. Follow the spirit into the kitchen where Pappa is seen cooking. You must not run with or Pappa will notice Saga outside her crib and puts her back inside. If you're caught, you can always climb out of the crib to retry again. To avoid the Pappa, simply walk underneath the table to the right of the kitchen. Follow the spirit into the dining room, where Mamma is typing. The spirit is by the closed door and Mamma will not put Saga back into the crib. To open the closed door, interact with Mamma twice to get her attention. Once you have her attention, walk towards the closed door and interact with the handle. Mamma will open it for you and the spirit will now be floating over a baby rattle. Walk towards the spirit and interact with the rattle to trigger a cutscene and unlock the trophy.

Let the World Burn
Kian rejected the rebels and doomed reality to destruction. Good job!

Required Decision Point: You must select Reject during the conversation with Shepherd and Likho in the main hall.

This trophy can be done near the start of Chapter 3: The Enclave, where Kian will be offered a choice of either joining the rebels or reject their resistance. For this trophy to unlock, you're going to have to reject them and later let Kian stay in his cell where the door will automatically close and seal him in there forever. This will actually doom reality and kill everyone since Kian, Zoë and Saga are all needed to be alive. If Kian is no longer alive, the Book's stories cannot continue. Everyone's stories end and this results in the game ending abruptly as the credits start rolling.

You can still obtain this trophy during your first initial playthrough. This is how I recommend doing it. Select Reject during the conversation cutscene with Shepherd and Likho in the main hall:

Decision Points:

  1. Join:
    "I can never be one of them... but what choice is there? I have no faith, no mission. What does it matter that resistance is not mine? And by fighting my people, I might save my people."
     
  2. Reject:
    "Let them lock me up, throw away the key. Let them kill me. I will never be one of them."

When Shepherd comes to see Kian in his cell to give him a lecture that what he's doing is the coward's way out and the easy way out. You're then given a choice between Choice or Cowardice. Either of those choices doesn't matter, so pick whatever you want. Shepherd will still warn Kian that the door will remain open, for a while. If you choose to accept their offer, you're free to leave the cell as no one will stop you. Kian will briefly think to himself about the moment his journey out of the darkness began. After he finishes thinking, you'll regain control of him again. A hidden time limit of 20 seconds starts counting down. You now have two choices to make:

  1. Join the rebels
  2. Stay in your cell

Stay in your cell by simply waiting and the cell door will automatically close. With the door closed for good, Kian will live and die with the consequences of his inactions, thus unlocking the trophy.

At the main menu screen, simply select Continue and join the rebels by leaving the cell. This will continue the Book's stories.

Paying respects
Arn Stont's message to his wife Gerdi was delivered.

Prerequisite: During Book One: Reborn, you must make a promise to the dying prisoner, which can only be done in Chapter 2: Friar's Keep.

This trophy can only be unlocked during Chapter 3: Marcuria, where Kian needs to do the following goals:

  1. The Mole: Seek out ‘the Mole’ near Shady Quay.
  2. Traitor: Identify the Azadi collaborator in the Oldtown market.
  3. Optional: You made a promise to Arn Stont. Seek out his widow in the Bones.

The interesting thing about this is that your Book One: Reborn's choices determine if you receive the optional goal. If you made the promise to the dying prisoner during Chapter 2: Friar's Keep, you'll get the optional goal in Book Two: Rebels' Chapter 3: Marcuria. If you want to make sure that you've made the right choices for the dying prisoner, please refer to the Dreamfall Chapters ~ Platinum Walkthrough (Text) or use this as a shortcut:

  • When a man with a wooden leg (Balsay Bachim) comes to free Kian from prison, get out of bed.
  • Leave your prison cell and follow Balsay towards the left where you'll come across a locked gate.
  • Continue heading towards the left direction until you find a dying prisoner on the floor asking for help.
  • Interact with the Dying prisoner.
  • Interact with the Hand Icon to push the dead guard off him.
  • Interact with the Dying prisoner.
  • Select How bad is it.
  • Select Help him.
  • Select Promise him.

At the start of Chapter 3: Marcuria, you'll have three goals to complete, but it's highly recommended that you focus on the optional goal first. Head to The Magic Market and a cutscene will automatically trigger as you get closer to the center. During the conversation with the boy thief, Bip, select the following:

  • Lie.
  • Lie.
  • Go now.

This will allow you to really start goals #2 and #3 at the same time, but the first thing you should do is to keep the promise of delivering Arn Stont's message to his wife Gerdi. She's found in The Bones which is on the western side of Marcuria. Follow Bip and he will tell you to meet him on the other side. You'll see two Azadi soldiers standing guard by the Bone's open gate passage. As you walk closer, the screen will turn gray. You'll be safe due to the veil magic potion and will pass through. You're now in The Bones, head up the west path and keep going until you find a Woman sitting on some stairs on the right side. To make things easier, there is a sign that reads "*Stont Family* Carpentry Construction". Walk up to this woman and interact with her and the trophy will unlock.

Honour & Humanity
Listen to the entire National Front speech by Onor Hileriss.

This trophy can only be unlocked during Chapter 3: Marcuria, where Kian needs to do the following goals:

  1. Find a way into the National Front meeting.
  2. Investigate the National Front attendees.

The first thing you need to do is head towards The Magic Market where a 10-year-old boy thief will try to steal from you. His name is Bip and he'll help you out by following him. Follow Bip into The Bones and he'll show you where the National Front meeting is at. You now need to find a way to gain access to the meeting. Do this by talking to the National Front guard who asks you for a phrase. Say whatever you want to him and an Angry Woman will appear behind Kian. She tears up a Flyer into 2 pieces and storms off. Pick up both Paper segments off the ground and follow the Angry Woman. Talk to her and she will give you the 3rd piece of paper (Flyer). Now open your inventory and combine all three papers to make the full Flyer. Examine it with and rotate it around using the and Kian will learn that the phrase is Honour and Humanity.

Return back to the National Front guard and talk to him again. This time select Humanity and he'll let you into the meeting. Walk towards the National Front meeting to trigger a cutscene. You'll regain control over Kian again after the cutscene ends. Do nothing here and listen to the entire National Front speech by Onor Hileriss. This will ultimately unlock this trophy as long as you do not leave the rally because you will not be able to return. Onor Hileriss' speech is about 6-7 minutes long (there's no need to look for the traitor because he's not here) and when it's over, the trophy will unlock.

Additionally, you'll get a new goal for completing this trophy's requirement:

  1. Identify the Azadi collaborator in the Oldtown market (see The Right Mans ).
The Right Mans
Identify the right Azadi collaborator.  (1)

Prerequisite: Listening to the entire National Front speech by Onor Hileriss is required to unlock this trophy (see Honour & Humanity ).

This trophy unlocks at the start of Chapter 3: The First Arrives, but the requirements for it must be completed during Chapter 3: Marcuria. Those requirements can be found by unlocking the Honour & Humanity . Once you have that trophy, you should have this goal:

  1. Identify the Azadi collaborator in the Oldtown market.

To identify the right Azadi collaborator, return back to The Magic Market and Likho will ask you where have you been. Talk to Likho and you must now find the traitor since he wasn't at the meeting. This guy might be wandering around the area randomly. He's the Mercurian wearing a straw hat and has a blue shirt. Walk up to this man, interact with him and select the down option to smell him. Kain will comment that he smells like lavender oil. This is the comment that you want Kain to say, so interact with the Mercurian wearing a straw hat again only this time you want to accuse him, by selecting the left option. This will cause a brief scene in which Likho will take him hostage.

This is the right Azadi collaborator:

That's it! You're done with this trophy's requirement as long as you chosen the 'right' traitor. Selecting the 'wrong' man will not unlock the trophy. Afterwards, finish the rest of these chapters and the trophy will unlock at the start of Chapter 3: The First Arrives:

  • Chapter 3: Marcuria
  • Chapter 3: The Rooster & Kitten
  • Chapter 3: The Enclave
The Test
Kian's first mission completed.  

Story related and cannot be missed.

This trophy will unlock near the end of Chapter 3: Marcuria, after Kian completed and finished every single task related to both of these goals:

  • The Mole: Seek out ‘the Mole’ near Shady Quay.
  • Traitor: Identify the Azadi collaborator in the Oldtown market.

They can be completed in any order you wish. Once you get the goal to meet up with Enu and Likho at the Rooster and Kitten, the trophy will unlock.

Lost girls
Zoë completes Queenie's mission.  

Story related and cannot be missed.

This trophy will unlock during Chapter 4: Propast, after Zoë completed and finished every single task related to both of these goals:

  • Hanna's trail: Find the pickpocket's hideout.
  • Data theft: Visit Mira at the Pandemonium

They can be completed in any order you wish, but really Hanna's trail is the main one that needs to be completed. You cannot proceed with it though unless you also started Data theft. Eventually, after finding Hanna's hiding place in a vent hatch. Hanna will give Zoë a Dragonfly as a gift for Queenie. Bring Hanna's gift to the Queenie where you'll have a conversation with her. You'll be offered some Decision Points that will have an effect on Zoë's story but doesn't affect offer trophies unlocking. Pick whatever choices you wish and the trophy will unlock when Zoë leaves Queenie's boat.

Data decisions
But did you make the right decision?  

Story related and cannot be missed.

This trophy will unlock at the end of Chapter 4: Propast, after Zoë completed and finished every single task related to both of these goals:

  • Hanna's trail: Find the pickpocket's hideout.
  • Data theft: Visit Mira at the Pandemonium

They can be completed in any order you wish, but really Data theft is the main one that needs to be completed. You cannot proceed with it though until you finished Hanna's trail. When Zoë leaves Queenie's boat after delivering Hanna's gift. You'll see Shitbot flying by repeating wielding over and over. A sign that he has finished the perimeter defenses. Head back to Mira, inside the Pandemonium building. Talk to Mira and give her the data that you got using Mira's tracker app. This will trigger a cutscene where Mira will suggest that Zoë should publish the data anonymously to share it with the world. This choice is a Decision Point and has two different trophies attached to it.

Decision Points:

  1. Bring the data to Baruti: This choice will later unlock Dead ends
    "I'll let him take it from here. Whatever happens next is not up to me."
     
  2. Bring the data to Sully at The Hand That Feeds: This choice will later unlock Stop the presses!
    "It can't be up to Baruti to decide what to do with it. This belongs to everyone."

You need two playthroughs anyway, so you will end up doing both. After making the choice, the trophy will unlock at the end of the chapter when Zoë returns home.

Feeding the young
Kian gave Bip his sand-witch.

This trophy can unlock during Chapter 5: Marcuria, when Kian gets this goal:

  • Find a way to create a diversion.

To do this, you're going to need to make a sandwich and steal some ingredients which will require the help of Bip. This is really story related but giving the Sand-witch to Bip is completely optional and can be missed if you don't give it to him after ordering Bip to steal the ingredients. I recommend you use the Dreamfall Chapters ~ Platinum Walkthrough (Text) to proceed with the story and unlock the trophy while doing it or you can use this as a shortcut:

In The Magic Market after talking to the Azadi guard and Bip:

  • Look for the Sand-witcher vendor in the same area. But we're not going to talk to her just yet. On her stall's left end corner is a box full of magical items. Interact with this box and use the 'Look at Icon' on the items. You only need to look at one item, it doesn't matter what you look at because we're going to steal everything soon.
  • Look at any of these:
    1. Toad testes
    2. Waxed paper tubing
    3. Irhadi ash
    4. Crimson crumb
    5. Essence of sun-worm
  • Once you looked at least one of the above items, interact with the Sand-witcher.
  • Select Sand-witch.
  • When she moves away, interact with the Sand-witch again.
  • Select Um and she will start making the sandwich which is what we want. While she's doing that, return back to Bip and she gets mad at you for leaving.
  • Interact with Bip.
  • Select Help.
  • Return back to the Sand-witcher vendor.
  • Interact with the Sand-witcher.
  • Select the Talk To Icon.
  • When she moves away, interact with the Sand-witch again.
  • Select Elgwan.
  • Select Yes and she will turn around. You now need to make Bip quickly steal the items for you.
  • Interact with Bip and point the arrow on the ingredients. Bip steals the stuff and Kian will receive a Sand-witch from the woman.
  • Find Bip by The Magic Market Map.
  • Walk towards Bip, press and select the Sand-witch with to use it with Bip.

Once you gave Bip the Sand-witch, the trophy will unlock.

Dead ends

Required Decision Point: Bring the data to Baruti. Plus, you must accept the mission from Baruti during Chapter 4: Propast.

This trophy will unlock during Chapter 5: Propast only if you decided to bring the data to Baruti. During Chapter 4: Propast, Baruti will call Zoë and asks her to meet him by the Collapse Memorial. Head there to have a conversation with him and he will tell Zoë about a discrepancy going on with the campaign. He wants to know the truth but cannot risk doing it himself. You need to access Unity's servers and download the data. This requires a rogue data sniffer and a government grade black mask protocol. After hearing all of this, select Accept mission and you'll receive a Cryptocoin which can be used to transfer the data. You should now have the following goal:

  • Data theft: Visit Mira at the Pandemonium.

Go to the Pandemonium and walk towards the Buzzer. Mira will be arguing with a Bot. When this argument is over, go inside the Pandemonium building by interacting with the Buzzer. Talk with Mira and she will give you the Mira's tracker (a clock and tracker app). You should now get the following goal:

  • Data theft: Tap into Wire singularities using your IRIS to download data.

While outside, use the Mira's tracker application and find the following by simply following the arrow (ignore Queenie's boat as you cannot get that one):

  1. Go to Zoë's apartment and then look at the big statue in the center. It has an Artificial sun floating in the air. Interact with the Artificial sun twice and select Mira's Tracker. You should be at 37% of data downloaded.
  2. Return to the Collapse memorial and go up those left stairs to Level 2. When upstairs on Level 2, go to the blocked off stairs where you see the big gold spinning WATI logo. Interact with the WATI logo twice and select Mira's Tracker. You should be at 81% of data downloaded.
  3. From the WATI logo, turn around, go downstairs, then go upstairs on the right side. Follow this walkway and you'll be lead to the Lab door (where Zoë works with Ada). Interact with the Lab door twice and select Mira's Tracker. You should be at 100% of data downloaded.

Now that you did that you have to finish the rest of the main story goals of Hanna's trail. I recommend you to use the Dreamfall Chapters ~ Platinum Walkthrough (Text) to proceed with the story. Eventually, you will be back with Mira and will need to decide where to take the data - to Baruti or to The Hand That Feeds. For this trophy to unlock you need to do the following:

  • Head to Sonnenschein Plaza to find Baruti sitting on the benches in front of the Seraph Kavarna building.
  • Interact with Baruti.
  • Select the Talk to Icon.
  • Select Doubts.
  • Select Hand over data.
  • Select Private.
  • Select Stay on.

Now keep playing the game and it will unlock naturally during Chapter 5: Propast when you go to the Unity campaign headquarters. The place where Baruti works and when you get there, interact with the Unity campaign headquarters door. During Chapter 4: Propast, Baruti will call Zoë and asks her to meet him by the Collapse Memorial. Head there to have a conversation with him and he will tell Zoë about a discrepancy going on with the campaign. He wants to know the truth but cannot risk doing it himself.   • Return back to the door to Exit to Propast.
  • Since you gave the data to Sully, you have to inform Baruti about it.

  • Select the Brutal truth and he fires Zoë.

Now keep playing the game and it will unlock naturally during Chapter 5: Propast. You'll get a call from Baruti who tells you he moved away and quit his job but wishes to remain friends. You then need to head to The Hand That Feeds and you'll see Sully outside with EYE operatives stopping him from entering his building. Walk towards the crowd where Sully is at and he will automatically talk to Zoë. Follow Sully and he'll tell Zoë everything he has discovered and the trophy will unlock.

Wait, what?
Completed Book Two. Completely confused.  

Story related and cannot be missed.

This trophy will unlock at the end of Chapter 5: Propast, after Zoë completed and finished task related to this goal:

  • "What's going on with Nela?" Follow her destination.

Now before you can get this, you'll get a recorded message from Baruti or learned the truth from Sully. This depends on who you gave the data to during your last visit in Propast. You'll then need to follow Nela because she's acting strangely. Follow Nela until she stops and a cutscene automatically triggers. Nela has a bomb in her hand and is about to commit suicide terrorism against the EYE's Headquarters building. Press and hold to run away from the area and the trophy will unlock. Additionally, it should be noted that running away will ensure that the TMI trophy will unlock in Book Four.

The First Shift
Saga has left the House of All Worlds for the first time.  

Story related and cannot be missed.

This trophy will unlock at the end of Interlude Two after Saga completed and finishing all the goals related to these:

  • Collect all your drawings.
  • Hang the drawings in the right order on the wall of your bedroom.

These drawings are scattered all over the house. These are story related, here are the locations:

  1. In the kitchen, look at the black table chart, you'll find a drawing (The Big City) hidden under the table. Interact with the Drawing. Now walk in front of the black table chart and interact with the Table. The drawing is now on the floor, interact with the Drawing and Saga will add The Big City to her inventory.
  2. Head towards the front door to find a red umbrella nearby some stairs. Go up the stairs and turn around to see a light switch. Interact with the Switch. Now look towards Saga's left and you should see the drawing lying on some boxes. Interact with the Drawing and Saga will add The Stone Disc to her inventory.
  3. Head downstairs and enter the living room (with the fireplace). Look on the wall for a Painting of Mamma and you should notice the drawing right next to this painting. Interact with the Drawing and Saga will add The First Shift to her inventory.
  4. This drawing is in the same room as The First Shift drawing. Walk towards the chair to the left of the fireplace. If you look behind this chair, you'll see the drawing on the well hidden on the wall. Interact with the Drawing and Saga will add An Ancient Evil to her inventory.
  5. Enter the dining room and look at the table's chairs. One of the chairs has a drawing on it. Interact with the Drawing and Saga will add The Rolling Man to her inventory.
  6. Return back to the kitchen and Pappa is now sitting down reading a newspaper. Walk towards kitchen's sink and look up towards the hanging pots and pans. You should see the drawing on the top shelf but it's too high for you to reach. Interact with the Drawing and then interact with Pappa to get his help. Return back to the Drawing, interact with it again and Saga will add Crow to her inventory. A cutscene will happen.
  7. After the cutscene, head to Saga's bedroom. Interact with the Door. Walk inside Saga's bedroom and turn around to interact with the Door again. You should now see the drawing on the door, interact with the Drawing and Saga will add The White Dragon reborn to her inventory. Her father will talk about the uncle visiting, wait for him to stop talking.
  8. In the same room as The White Dragon reborn, turn around and walk towards the purple dollhouse. You should see the drawing inside the dollhouse. Interact with the Drawing and Saga will add The White Dragon to her inventory.
  9. The last one is in the same room, close the purple dollhouse by interacting with the Door. You'll find keys on the dollhouse door. Interact with the Keys and Saga will add Keys to her inventory. Now head towards Saga's bed to find a Music box. Press and select the Keys with to use it on the Music box. Now that it's opened, interact with the Drawing and Saga will add Among the Stars to her inventory.

After getting all 9 drawings, return back to the kitchen and talk with Pappa. You now need to head back to Saga's bedroom so you can hang the drawings in the right order on the wall. The correct order is this:

  1. The White Dragon
  2. The Big City
  3. The First Shift
  4. Crow
  5. The Rolling Man
  6. An Ancient Evil
  7. The Stone Disc
  8. The White Dragon reborn
  9. Among the Stars

Doing all the above will unlock the trophy.

This trophy will unlock at the start of Chapter 6: Night in Marcuria, only if you did not torture or killed the guard during Book Two's Chapter 5: Dolmari girl's quarters. After getting Bip's help to lure and distract the guard. You will find an Azadi guard in his quarters about to rape a young magical girl. This will lead to two different Decision Points and both are attached to two different trophies:

Decision Points:

  1. Torture: This choice will later unlock Likho-time
    "He will lie. Unless I show him what happens when he does. Unless I cause him pain."

After getting Bip's help to lure and distract the guard. You will find an Azadi guard in his quarters about to rape a young magical girl. This trophy will unlock at the start of Chapter 6: Night in Marcuria, only if you returned the maintenance worker's tools. This is a miscellaneous trophy and is very simple to do. You should have all these goals completed until you get to the very last one:

  • Go to the Rooster and Kitten
  • Find some way to incapacitate the pipe maintenance worker.
  • Bring the Evensong to Ulvic
  • The maintenance worker is asleep. Look for something to help you get access to the pipes.
  • Investigate the pipes.
  • Investigate the object passing through the pipes.
  • Follow the pipes to where the metal sphere came from.
  • Find a way into the building at the hub of the pipe network.

Yes, it's a lot to do but all that is story related. I recommend you to follow the Dreamfall Chapters ~ Platinum Walkthrough (Text) to get through all of that with detailed steps. The very last part requires a Rat which is near the location of Bip. Bip will end up calling you so talk to Bip and after the conversation. Walk a little closer to Bip, press and select the Pipe tool with to use it on Bip. Bip will end up returning the maintenance worker's tools which will unlock the trophy.

Additionally, you can also enter The Rooster & Kitten and return those tools back yourself. I don't recommend doing that because you will have to go through two loading screens of entering and then leaving The Rooster & Kitten. Something I think is unnecessary and the loading times are long in this game. Just give the tool to Bip to save yourself some time.

Eggspert

This is a miscellaneous trophy and is very simple to do but keep in mind that it is time sensitive.   1. Interact with the Salt.
  2. Interact with the Pepper.
  3. Interact with the Pepper again.
  4. Interact with the pan to Stir.
  5. Interact with the pan to Stir again.
  6. Interact with the pan to Stir once again.
  7. Now use the to move away from the pan and the trophy will unlock.
Total Recall

Visiting Mira will result in Zoë receiving a Dreamachine and Fuel Cell. Eventually, after a conversation with Queenie and Hanna. Zoë will be back in her apartment where see can replace the fuel cell with a new one. Afterwards, open your inventory and examine and use the Dreamachine to place it on the table. Interact with the Dreamachine on the table to unlock the trophy.

A farewell to Shitbot

Inside this warehouse it will become a stealth like mission and you will need the help of Shitbot who has been reprogrammed. Don't worry if you're caught, you will respawn and retry again if you've failed. This trophy is also story related (as long as you picked the right choice), so I recommend you follow the Dreamfall Chapters ~ Platinum Walkthrough (Text) to get through all the story. After Shitbot returns to his old former self, he bids his farewell to Zoë and the trophy will unlock.

A farewell to Kidbot

  4. Select Introductions (she mentions having a sleepover with this choice).
  5. Select Enu.
  6. Select Search.
  7. Select Next steps and a cutscene will briefly happen where Blind Bob will be yelling at a rebel.
  8. Walk towards Blind Bob.
  9. Interact with Blind Bob.
  10. Select Purple Mountains.
  11. Select Abnaxus.
  12. Select Key and Zoë will add the Key to her inventory.
  13. After the conversation with Blind Bob and now that you have the Key. Return back to Enu.

This trophy will unlock during Chapter 9: Abnaxus Abode, only if you found the well-hidden note. This is a miscellaneous trophy and is very simple to do. After meeting Brian Westhouse inside Abnaxus' Abode. Do the following while ignoring the main story goal:

  1. When you need to search clues about The Purple Mountain the first thing that you'll want to do is head upstairs. Walk to the right side of the Bed to find some books. In between these books is a very well-hidden Note.
  2. Interact with the Note.
  3. Select the Hand Icon and Zoë will add the Note to her inventory.
  4. Head back downstairs and walk towards Mr Westhouse.
  5. Press and select the Note with to use it on Mr Westhouse.

Doing the above will unlock the trophy.

This trophy will unlock near the end of Chapter 10: Storytime, only if you did at least one selfish action as Zoë from Book One to Book Four. If you follow the Dreamfall Chapters ~ Platinum Walkthrough (Text), you'll end up unlocking this trophy naturally. Playthrough 1 will give you two different choices while Playthrough 2 actually gives you seven different choices. It doesn't matter which selfish action you've done with Zoë. As long as you selected the choice and shared it with the Baba Yaga, the Three Sisters (Baeb, Ayae and Gh'aa). Then the trophy will unlock for you after receiving the The soul-stone from the Baba Yaga.

Below are some known selfish choices:

  1. Ran away - Running away from Nela's bomb.
  2. Sausages - Picking the wrong lunch for Reza.

This trophy will unlock during Chapter 9: The Enclave, only if you found and caught Jakai inside Kian's room. This is a miscellaneous trophy and is very simple to do. After the conversations come to an end with Shepherd, head towards Kian's room. You will see Jakai being suspicious. Simply walk inside Kian's room to interrupt him and the trophy will unlock.

Not So Dirty Dancing
So You Think You Can Dance: Marcuria Edition.

This trophy will unlock during Chapter 9: Abnaxus Abode, only if you get Zoë to dance during the festival. When you're back in Maruria, ignore the current goal of heading to Abnaxus' Abode. Instead, walk straight ahead to where the Fountain is at. You should see a group of people dancing to the left of this Fountain. Four people are dancing to be exact (they are clapping their hands and then they spin around). What you need to do is walk in the center of these four dancers and wait a few seconds and Zoë start clapping her hands and dancing on her own, which will unlock the trophy.

Prerequisite: During Book Four: Revelations' Chapter 9: Abnaxus Abode, you must listen to all of the Girl's dialogue.

This trophy will unlock near the end of Chapter 9: The Fingerlings, only if you listen to all of the Girl's dialogue during Chapter 9: Abnaxus Abode. This is a miscellaneous trophy and is very simple to do especially if you're following the Dreamfall Chapters ~ Platinum Walkthrough (Text).

Head down the dirt road towards Smithy Greens' house, but go past the guards to enter The Bones area. Crow will talk to Zoë again in this area. After Crow flies away, look for a Girl standing near The Fingerlings stand. Talk to her and she will say, "Hello" and then keep interacting with her until she says, "It was probably just a dream, nothing to worry about. You'll probably be fine. Safe journeys!" This means you need to interact with this girl 7 times to listen to everything she has to say. You can keep talking to her to make her repeat herself, but 7 times is all it takes to hear everything. Afterwards, proceed with the story and you will eventually need to watch The Fingerlings show. If you talked with the Girl before, you'll notice that she's not there anymore which is normal. You now need to do the following:

  • When at The Fingerlings, go around the green theater to find a man named Roper Klacks.
  • Interact with Roper Klacks.
  • Select the Talk To Icon.
  • Select April Ryan.
  • Select April, continued.
  • Select Klacks.
  • Select Soul-stone this triggers a cutscene where he begins his children's' puppet show. He'll get arrested by the Azad Commander Vamon and Onor Hileriss for teaching magic through his puppet show.
  • After the puppet show is over, Crow comes flying towards Zoë, but you should also notice the Girl is back again.
  • Interact with the Girl three times to hear the rest of the dialogue she has to say. If you did this correctly, the trophy will unlock.

This trophy will unlock during Chapter 10: The Administrator's Office, only if you found the Necromancer King's secret chamber. This is a miscellaneous trophy and is very simple to do. Once you're inside the Office of Scientific Progress, be sure to close the door behind yourself. Open the door in front of you. Before doing anything else, look for a red book on the left bookshelf from the door's left. You will see it's interact-able (it's on the very top shelf). Interact with the red book and it'll open a secret chamber to Kian's right. Enter this hidden room and interact with the Painting in front of Kian and the trophy will unlock.

This trophy will only unlock if you selected the Leave Likho behind Decision Point during the end of Chapter 8: Marcuria at Night. Leaving Likho behind will cause this trophy to unlock naturally just like a story related trophy by simply playing through the game. During Chapter 10: The Administrator's Office, when General Hami comes to save Kian, quickly turn around and interact with the Statue and turn it to the left (counter-clockwise) and the trophy will unlock after the cutscene comes to an end.

The Girl Who Walks Between Worlds
Saga is walking the Songlines.

This trophy will unlock at the end of Interlude 3: The Girl Who Walks Between Worlds after Saga finishes her tasks of closing the three Wards scattered around the house. She will eventually open a white Shift and as she walks through the Shift, the trophy will unlock.

The Watilla is a lie
Wonkers will live again.

This trophy will unlock during Chapter 12: Hospital Room after Zoë reveals her real memories by interacting with these items a certain number of times:

  1. Greeting card
  2. Graduation Photo
  3. Picture of Reza and me
  4. Family Photo

After doing the above, talk with Wonkers and the trophy will unlock.

The Red Pill
WHAT IN THE ACTUAL F**K  

Story related and cannot be missed.

This trophy will unlock during Chapter 12: Hospital Room after Zoë finishes her conversation with Wonkers. When she walks, things are revealed as they really are. Walk through Zoë's bed and look at the wall which is a Door. Interact with this Door and simply walk down the white hallway until a cutscene triggers and unlocks the trophy.

This trophy will unlock during Chapter 12: Reapmoon's Eve, only if you drink some wine, water and liquor. This is a miscellaneous trophy and is very simple to do especially if you're following the Dreamfall Chapters ~ Platinum Walkthrough (Text) or you can use this as a shortcut:

  • Follow the left path until a cutscene triggers with Onor Hileriss and Crow.
  • After the cutscene is over, interact with the Bird cage.
  • Select the Talk to Icon.
  • After talking to Crow, turn around to find some Beer kegs and Flagons.
  • Interact with the Flagon.
  • Interact with the Flagon again.
  • Select the Hand Icon and Kian will add the Flagon to his inventory.
  • Now it's time to get a few missable trophies out the way. To the right of the Flagons, you should see a wine Merchant. Go to this man and interact with him.
  • Select Taste.
  • Now look at the Dragon's Fire and interact with it.
  • Select the Hand Icon and the Merchant will let you taste it.
  • Select Tasting cup and Kian will add the Thimbleful of Dragon's Fire to his inventory.
  • To the left of the Merchant is a Bird bath. Walk to this and press and select the Empty flagon to use it on the Bird bath. This makes it a Flagon of water.
  • Now you need to open your inventory with and drink both the Flagon of water and Thimbleful of Dragon's Fire. The Dragon's Fire will unlock a trophy for you and gets rid of the tasting cup.
  • Return back to the Merchant and press and return the Empty thimble back to him by placing it on the Taste cup.
  • Interact with the Merchant.
  • Select Taste.
  • Select any wine except the Dragon's Fire one. I selected the Grapes of Nehdrah.
  • Select the Hand Icon and the Merchant will let you taste it.
  • Select Tasting cup and Kian will add the Thimbleful of wine to his inventory (be sure to drink it from your inventory to unlock the trophy).

Doing the all of the above will unlock the trophy.

The Longest Journey Home
Best friends reunited, setting out on their final journey together.  

Story related and cannot be missed.

This trophy will unlock at the end of Chapter 13: Dreaming, where Zoë will learn the truth about everything.

The Bloodless King
Kian's future has been decided for him  

Story related and cannot be missed.

This trophy will unlock at the end of Epilogue: Sadir, which is nothing but a cutscene chapter.

Balance is restored
Our story comes full circle as the past meets the future.  

Story related and cannot be missed.

This trophy will unlock at the end of The House of All Worlds, where Lady Alvane (an elderly Saga) needs to do the following tasks:

  • Start the fireplace.
  • Open the window to let Crow inside.
  • Rest her legs in the comfy chair.
